Affordable, Easy-to-Use Bike Rack

Great deal
After going back and forth trying to figure out what bike rack i should go with, i decided this one was great for the price. After seeing how easy it was to hook and unhook tot he car it was a no brainer!

womans touring bike
It is not set up for a woman's touring bike. I tried mounting it upside down, but it was awkward for me and very difficult for my wife.The hold down straps seem cheap and the holes for the rubber button will probably elongate after a while.It mounted to our 02 Camry SE with a spoiler without a problem.

Great price, easy to mount

started ok got bad
seemed like a great deal last Summer. I transported 2 bicycles on many short and long trips. The downside was that it scratched the trunk of my car. At the end of last year, the straps loosened many times and I had to stop to tighten them. I am scared to use it again, as the bikes can easily fall off. I would not recommend this unit based on my experience.

Not great
Research before you buy. Unfortunately, this product will not work with cars with a spoiler. I put it on my other car and found with one bike on it, the lower straps loosened making it possible for it to fall off while driving. It's not a good product.

Too light weight
The light weight is nice for handling, but not for auto ride. With each little bump, it felt like the rack was going to bounce off. My 700 Trek is pretty light weight in itself, so it moved with every bump. Had to take curves slowly. The small strap to attach bike to bracket is better served with bungy cords. I liked my previous, heavier weight bike rack much better.

Totally Useless
This fell off my car on the highway. Twice. In one day. Rearranged it and tightened as per the instructions, but it still dented and scratched my (relatively new) car when it swung off to the side, and then tearing the tire off my bike when it loosened and hit the ground. I was only going about 50mph.
Can't wait to return this and get something that works. You get what you pay for. Even when it's "working" the thing still jumps, dips, wiggles, and fights to get off the back of your car like it's alive. I can't trust it for any task.

Not a GREAT product!
This product is made so poorly that it caused damage to the bumper of my car and the trunk on my road trip from Utah to Idaho (a little over 300 miles).

Don't use new cars for transport
I only used this rack for two weeks and besides the fact that the bikes would flap around and needed bungie cords all intertwined to give any kind of support, I barely felt safe to drive ten minutes to the bike trails. Then I noticed one day that my Cruz that I bought brand new had paint missing on the trunk hood where the cushions rested and my husband noticed that my trunk is slightly dented in. This is the worst bike rack, do not waste your money and car. I am having a hitch installed ASAP.
