Easy to Use Bike Rack
This rack was easy to set up and use. It is very secure. I have only used it with the max of 2 bikes on the outer two holders. I do have a hard top convertible (VW) and the side straps didn't perfectly fit they way they should, but it was maneuverable. I do wish you could still access the trunk or especially put my convertible down with it on.

Saris Bones Bike Rack.
I had borught some cheap ones and was never happy and felt that the bikes are going to fall off.
Once i used this bike rack I was so pleased and happy with it. I drive without worry that the bikes are going to fall off the rack.

my one issue is what do you do with the straps, they are long.

Best Bike Rack
Great bike rack. Not too expensive and extremely sturdy. I have a $1040 Trek Mamba and was at first nervous to drive over 200 miles with it on my Nissan maxima, however after checking the straps at 45 miles I was well assured of the security.
Saris website automated system to see if the bones will fit on your car with the spoiler option says that it will not work for my maxima, but it does fit perfect and does not rub or touch the spoiler.

Last one you will ever purchase!
I purchased the Saris Bones-3 after much research. It is a bit more expensive than most others, but with a good size investment in bikes I did not want to cheap-out on a rack just because of price. This is extremely secure, durable, and easy to use. Also, if I ever do need to part, the resale is excellent. I would not hesitate to purchase this rack!

Versatile
Our first bike rack. Traveled with two adult bikes on country roads and highway (speeds avg.70-75). Held them securely. Easily adaptable to different cars. I am wondering about the "plastic" teeth wearing down but really a great bike rack.

Excellent rack
Very durable, everything is either plastic or aluminum so there are no worries about rust. Very sturdy and versatile. Can be mounted in many more ways than most so it is ideal for a car with a tricky setup. Virtually every strap, arm and connector is adjustable. Made in the USA which could explain its durability. Would still not put more than 2 bikes on any trunk rack due to the weight on the car itself, but i'm sure the reack could handle it. Overall great product!
