Rated 5 out of 5 by 1911-45ACP I have owned this N.F. Danalli jacket for 8 yesrs The jacket fit to size. The zippers are good quality and never snag. The Abrasion-reinforced shoulders and elbows hold up well to back pack shoulder straps The arm pit ventilation zippers work well to moderate a your body temperature in different fluctuating temperatures. The pocket are deep and zipper to hold your valuables. It is water resistant to a light mist. In rain you will get wet. In cold windy conditions the fleece adds no protection. The wind blows right through the coat. Not recommend for outdoor winter conditions. The jacket washes well and looks like new once out of the washing machine. The fleece does NOT pile and keeps looking good for many years. Mine is 8 years and looks great. May 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bear Totally worth the money spent I use this coat for every day where when I am not at work. It is light enough that it doesn't restrict my natural movement. I am a larger guy so this was very important to me. The coat is very very warm but yet cool enough when I open the vents that I am not sweating half to death. It is great for the fall and I have even worn in snow boarding in Switzerland already and it kept me completely warm. The only thing I don't like about it is I wish there was a wrap that was inside the wrist of each of the arms that you could pull over a set of gloves to help keep snow out when I am snowboarding. This is just a thing with the sport and shouldn't be a problem for those who just want it for comfort. It is the most comfortable coat I own, even more comfortable the my Gucci leather coat. Rated 4 out of 5 by Mar Son's choice My 17 year old outgrew his size medium Denali jacket. He likes it so I bought him a size large. For him it's stylish and comfortable. For me, I think it's too expensive for what it is. October 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by JimmyMz Great, light-weight...yet warm liner This liner could be worn as a coat itself, due to the mild Louisiana weather, but if you plan to visit a more arctic region you could always purchase a North Face outside shell that the liner zips into. North Face products tend to cost more, but you're paying for quality, quality that lasts. I can't recommend North Face enough, and I lived in Chicago for over 10 years...it's a great choice when warmth is the key to a great day. Jimmy April 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by TommyBoy33 Great jacket This jacket is extremely comfortable and fits nice on the body. It is a casual jacket, but could be worn to look nice. It is not cheap, but it's well worth it. February 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lynda81 Winter Jacket for College Freshman Bought this jacket for my 18 year old son who is a college freshman. He only had his high school letterman which he wasn't going to wear at college. He is at OU and it gets cold there but will rarely have snow. He can layer this jacket with hoodies for extra warmth, or not when it's not as cold. We figured it would be a good all-round jacket for him. My daughter has a similar jacket she has had for three years and it's still her favorite jacket. October 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mom Went from "don't want it" to "love it". I bought the North Face jacket as a Christmas gift for my son. Prior to knowing he was getting it, he made a comment about not liking North Face, so I was worried about giving it to him on Christmas. I gave it to him anyway, and once he tried it on, he said he loved it! He said it was lightweight and warm at the same time, which he wasn't expecting. It takes a lot to make my son love a jacket, but North Face came through. December 28, 2011
