Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good wrist suport I've used these gloves for over a year now. I love the support in my wrist. I am a heavyweight female with medium-large hands and my hands fit well & comfortably. My only complaint is that the velcro wore quickly which is very aggravating when sparring. The strap will not stay down. This happened about 6-7 months after purchase. I carry 2 other pair of gloves in my bag but still tend to reach for these. I will be breaking down and repurchasing this month. December 3, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value Comfortable and good for bag work. Also for sparring but the velcrow needs tape to stay down or you're partner will look like they have arm herpes on account of the scratches September 8, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sizing For people complaining about sizing, if you weigh the 235+, you shouldn't be wearing a 16oz glove to begin with. You're a bigger person, you're going to need a bigger glove. That's why they make 18oz etc. 16oz gloves are designed for people under about 170 pounds. 18oz are recommended for people 180 pounds and up. Also, these gloves come in zipper bags so go try them on first before buying them online. Here's a sizing chart for those of you who are looking to buy and get correct sizing: 120lbs & down (12oz or 14oz) 120lbs ? 150lbs (14oz ? 16oz) 150lbs ? 180lbs (16oz ? 20oz) 180lbs & up (18oz & up) August 14, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by purchase was to replace The online purchase was to replace a pair bought in store 3 months prior. The padding in the Right glove knuckle are split on half offered no protection. The gloves were used on a heavy bag and focus mitts. HOPEFULLY this pair lasts longer then 3 months... July 11, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by The most uncomfortable gloves I have ever used I am a female and had been boxing with 12oz gloves but I had worn them out and 12oz was really to small for bag work, my coach said he could feel my fists when I hit the mits and I needed more padding. I'm 5'9 and 174 lbs. (Amazon built). I purchased these because the only other gloves dicks had was some lame looking 12oz white gloves that I knew couldn't do anything for me. I tried on the 14oz and they fit pretty good, but I decided to go for the 16 ounces in consideration of wraps. I had a PT mitt session and OMG these gloves DESTROYED my hands. They were in so much pain. I didn't say nothing and kept going with the session but it was not fun. I've never had issues with my punches previously so something was wrong. The gloves fit a little weird/off so I decided maybe if I go with the smaller/tighter pair it would fix the problem. NOT SO. I returned these and got 14 ouncers but OMG they were just as bad. It's as if these gloves were not even molded for human hands but hands with some kind of defect. the opposite part of my palm was completely restricted and every punch felt unnatural. I definately would not recommend these. If you don't powerpunch or want some gloves for some light cardio maybe these are ok. I'll definately be taking mine back and going for Ringside or Venom gloves. July 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gloves I have problems with my hands these are the perfect gloves beating up the whole hood with these June 2, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by not bad not good I have only used these gloves 5 or 6 times. The wrist support is great. The added support for the wrists is a henderance for throwing a back fist. I honestly purchased these because my pair of f1 gloves finally split. Had I not needed a pair that day I would not have purchased this pair. I will soon move them to my bag only gloves May 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome gloves Fantastic wrist support. Fantastic store where I purchased these gloves May 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by works just fine I am novice when it comes to boxing but these have held up just fine for my workouts on the heavy bag. I have had them for a few weeks and no signs of any wear. May 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid gloves for beginners and casual users I'm not sure where these 1 star ratings are coming from. I'm 6'4 and my hands fit fine in the gloves. I have long fingers and didn't have any issue getting in them. These people having problems must have some super fat hands and wrists. The ISOPLATE feels good on the wrists. This is the main reason I bought these gloves because my wrists normally tend to feel sore after boxing. I haven't noticed any odd curving of the gloves that effect your hands or wrists like one review said. The gloves look great in person but my only complaint which goes for most gloves, is that they could be more breathable. When I tried them on the store my hands were sweating after having them on for less than 3 minutes. But it's tough to find gloves that provide that for this price. Of course there's better gloves out there but if your a casual user or beginner, these will be more than enough to protect your hands. April 19, 2015
