Princeton Tec Remix Headlamp 4.4 5 20 20
A headband light that works the way I would have designed it It has low and high brightness in red, and low and high brightness in white. The default is low red when you first turn it on. The package doesn't say HOW to turn on the white light. The answer is to just hold down the on-off switch and it'll switch from red to white. Pressing twice in a row changes it to bright. When it's been on for a few seconds, pressing the on-off switch will turn it OFF instead of cycling thru bright or other colors -- so it doesn't waste your time to turn if OFF. The package has just a small sticker on it to let you know that it has a RED mode. I guess someone forgot to include that feature on the package's design. There was a chart in the store comparing the features of several headband light models, and this comparison chart omitted the RED mode for this light, so I asked a salesman to open it up, put the batteries in (enclosed within the package), and try it out to make sure it had BOTH RED and WHITE light modes. It did. I bought it and I'm glad I did. I use it instead of my other flashlights in my tent and while walking dark trails while heading back to camp when there's no moonlight. May 10, 2013
Light perform better than the company say it would. I am buying an addidtional lighjts for my family & freinds. April 30, 2013
I see deer. I bought this head lamp to help me see the trail at 4:30 am. Well it works almost too well. I can see just about every creature in the woods deer, rabbits, coyotes and I swear big foot one time. So yes they work. April 23, 2013
Perfect headlamp I tend to buy a new headlamp every 1 to 2 years. I have had some in the past that were great and they no longer make them. Recently I have been looking for a good quality, easy to use lamp with good battery life. I have purchased two in the past six months trying to find one. Then I found this headlamp and was very pleased to read its functions. After purchasing it and using it on a night-time fishing trip, I felt I had finally found what I have been looking for. I may go buy another for when this one gets worn out, for a few years down the road. I absolutely love this lamp. April 16, 2013
Not a great way to stay in business A powerful light and comfortable to wear. The controls are more complicated than they have to be. February 26, 2013
Great Lamp!!! I've used this lamp for a little over a year now and I love it! It's great for camping and hiking. My friends have other lamps and they don't even compare to the Tec Remix. I can stand behind two people hiking and light up the whole trail for them. I've used this lamp well over 25 times in rough conditions and still works like new. -- For any users who don't know how to use the bright LED, hold the button, and your regular setting will come on. For your high setting, you must hold the button, wait for the regular setting to come on and then quickly press the button again. -- January 17, 2013
bright not all function work put batteries in it as soon as i got home light didnt work returned it and the new on the color light would not work but the light is bright November 21, 2012
Junk You can't even see 5ft in front of you with this light. I would stay away from this product. November 13, 2012
Does the job I haven't used this headlamp much yet, but it seems to do an adequate job. It doesn't seem as bright at farther distances as I expected, but perhaps I'm too picky. The directions are a bit confusing, as I can't seem to figure out how to use specific red, white, or blue LEDs in the way the instruction stated. However, it did work well to free up my hands for close-range work, which is what I wanted. The elastic headband is also nice and secure. November 13, 2012
Good not Great I use this headlamp to walk into and out of the woods for hunting. It gives plenty of light to see at least 15 yards ahead, but don't look for it to spotlight anything. Good overall light that is easy on the head but not so much on the wallet. October 22, 2012
