comfort for kayak paddle they worked as promised and made the paddling easier on the hands. November 5, 2012
suits my purposes these Yak Grips work well for my flat water, non technical kayaking, but I don't think they would be good for white water. They slip too easily up and down the paddle handle, especially when you are exterting some force on the paddle to move quickly or manuever around an obstacle. But for slow moving flat water they work well. I used to wear gloves, but foung that made taking pictures too much of a hassle as the gloves would get wet and then I could touch my camera for fear of getting too much water on it. With this Yak Grips, I simply wipe my hand on my shirt or hat or a hankerchief and I'm good to go. October 17, 2012

Great product !! Immediately improved the paddling experience. My hands tend to go numb after paddling for a while. I did not have that problem after installing the Yak Grips on my paddle. They take a little getting used to. You tend to squeeze them harder at first until you learn you don't have to hold them so firmly. August 6, 2012

Ok but NOT for agressive Paddling if Wet I purchased the grips after receiving some serious rub burns on my hands. I didn't wnat the hassle of gloves, so I purchased these. They go on smoothly after you remember to wet them prior to sliding; however, they do slide often when paddling if they get wet. I still got a slight blister on my right hand so I purchased some gloves. Would be good for slow, non-agressive paddling July 16, 2012
