Rated 4 out of 5 by pjdeerhunter good deer
this deer was given to me by my mom gram dad and grandfather I think it is the best 3d target I could get for my birthday but I have not tried it out yet so I like that it show the vitals but I would like the base to be stronger so this is a good investment to those who are new to the sport of bow hunting and a good target for kids to practice on.

Dont buy this if you're looking for a target to use at 20-30 yards, nearly IMPOSSIBLE to pull your arrows out as I'm sure most are but just a warning. Great from beyond there. Also GREAT for kids at any range. overall it was easy to set up and a good buy for the $$.

We live almost 2 hours from the store we purchased it at and when we got home to put it together the rods for the legs were missing.

The target is a good target; however, the base that the 3D target rest on is weak. I shot approximately a dozen times when the weld broke that the target slides down on holding the target upright.

First and foremost keep in mind how much you are paying for this target! I bought this target to take on hunting trips for pre-game warm ups and tuning in the field. It was a cheap enough target that if it were lost stolen or broken I wouldn't flinch. Plus with the limited use I figured it last a few seasons anyways. I used my Rinehart "Alert Deer" for daily practice until I shot this one. So much easier to pull arrows and half the weight for setup. Now to be fair, it has only had field points from my 70 pound bow in it. However from the date of purchase till now it must have had a 1000+ arrows and still stops arrows. If you want a target to use daily and not break the bank this is the ticket! I do use a block for broadheads so can see some reviews points but what target will the the punishment of daily use with broadheads. Answer: Not even my targets that cost three times as much. As for the review that said " hard to pull out" the only hard spot is the joint between legs and the body!! More practice is your solution!!! The only reason I know where that "hard spot" is, is because I was shooting my 80 yard pin at 90 trying a "hold over". Well worth the money!!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jim Bob Deer can take it like a champ.
I bought this for my father inlaw for some backyard fun, if ya know what I mean. It has taken shots to the head like a champ, I find it a little hard to pull out sometime. Other than that I'd recommend this to anyone thats looking for a little backyard fun.
