this is a well made piece of stainless steel. not the lightest in the world, but you don't buy stainless to go light! this should hold up for years

This a a stoutly made cook tin that is high grade stainless steel. I am very pleased with it after several weeks of daily use cooking my lunches at work. The lid locks tightly and it is a snap to clean up. Very pleased with it.

No plastic to burn off handle. The hinges and latch on pot could rip your backpack. No copper bottom. I will be using this pot in kitchen or on trail for decades.
