I've been using this scope on my AR. I think I should have bought a higher powered scope. The 3x9 is okay for 100 yards. Hunting coyotes, I needed to get a 4x16. The scope is quality and very clear. It is clearer than the Nikon that I was looking at.

THIS IS A GREAT SCOPE FOR THE PRICE. THE DOA RETICLE TAKES THE GUESS WORK OUT THE BULLET DROP .USING A RANGE FINGER MATCH THE DOA MARKS AND THE GAME IS DOA .FOR THE PRICE AND QUALITY IT CANT BE BEAT.

was in the marine corp and had a more expensive version of this type scope. similarities are great, the ability to use the drop reticles instead of kentucky windage is awesome, had 3 shots with a 1.1 spread. with practice ammo at 100 yards. not bad at all. staff was great and knowledgable.

Easy to mount, and very accurate

Bought this to replace a lesser scope that could not handle mag. loads. Dicks borsighted it and was zeroed in in less than thirty mins at range. Look forward to getting Buck in its cross hairs. Only down side is figuring out the additional elevation marks and that is mostly because I haven't spent the time reading the manual I'm sure.

What a deal!
I have been interested in a rifle scope for long range shooting for a while now. I didn't need a long range scope so, I was not motivated to buy. I got a great deal from Dick's and it forced me to buy. This is a really nice scope. The flip-up scope covers are sturdy so you can actually use them without fear of them breaking. It is a very bright scope with good light transmission. The owner's manual includes a website that can be accessed to obtain information on different cartridges and how they will work with the DOA reticle. I look forward to accessing that information and taking this scope and the .30-06 that I mounted it on, to the range.
