Great crossbow
I'm not sure what problems people are having with this bow, but I have had it for 6 months and been on 5+ hunting trips and have shot this in my backyard at targets during the week. Haven't had a problem with it yet.

I would buy this product again
This bow is really something. It's not heavy and it fires really fast. Doesn't feel like a cheap toy at all.

My son loves this
I bought this crossbow for my son because we went on our first hunting trip together last year. It held up really well and he loved it. Barnett's crossbow are all great quality.

No GOOD Poorly
Horrible manufactured. Quiver bracket snapped. Strings all frayed due to no sliding block. My easy string crank bracket fell off. Just poor manufacturing everything is made very cheap.

So far, so good!
I bought this X-bow to fart around in the yard and hopefully take down some deer. Honestly, I don't know what the others are complaining about. The build quality seems high, the bolts fly true and far. I suppose the worst thing about it thus far is the b&w assembly instructions.

Accurate shooting bow
Brought bow home and adjusted scope, shot 3 times after adjustments was on target at 20 yrds 2nd cross hair was dead at 30 yrds. So far bow has been wonderful I'm a woman and the cranking device is great and I like it. How ever needs a better scope package.

Great crossbow
I plan on hunting with this crossbow and I all so enjoy target shooting. I purchased it about a week ago and so far I'm very happy with it. More than enough power and I like tha fact it is light, plus it looks good. Mine came with a crank, most likely I will never use it. I would rather have the option to pay less for it. I set this crossbow up myself and I think I did a pretty good job because I did not experience any string problems. I purchase a lot from Dick's not all products are perfect. Whenever I had a problem Dick's always made the situation right again.

would buy again
overall a good product HOWEVER THERE WERE THREE PIECES MISSING FROM THE BOX. (prod bolt and lock washer, quiver mounting piece and string wax)SEVERAL ATTEMPTS WERE MADE BY EMAIL AND PHONE CONTACT ABOUT THIS BUT TO NO AVAIL. NO ONE RESPONDED EITHER WAY. THE PHONE WAS ALWAYS BUSY AND YOU WERE PUT ON HOLD NEVER TO RECEIVE A CALL BACK. WOULD THINK TWICE ABOUT ORDERING FROM DICK's again. WE DID A LOT OF SHOPPING AT DICK'S.

Dick's will not stand behind products
I have bought two of the Barnett Wildcats. The first one was having trouble with a fraying pulley strings. It was stolen from my truck in Dec. 2010. The second one has been shoot less tan twenty times and the strings on it are fraying just like the old one. Dick's told me in Jan. 2011 they could repair the string or sent back to Barnett. So I waited until Aug. 2011 thinking I was going to have it repaired at my cost, but now Dick's says they will not repair any crossbow on advice of attorneys!! I hope these attorneys buy a lot sporting goods from Dick's because I am not buying anything from them and am passing on this story to everyone in my club or anyone who will listen. Dick's gave me unfair treatment to get me to write this review!!
