Rated 3 out of 5 by sweet 22 rifle scope so far I like the scope but it did not come with mounts witch adds to the cost and is a pain to look up all scopes should come with mounts August 14, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't waste your money. I purchased this scope fore my Ruger 10/22. Installed it and used a couple of bubble levels to make sure that the scope was squared to the receiver then used a bore sighter to get it ruffed in. When I got to the range and looked through the scope I noticed that the retical had shifted. When I started to shoot the retical started to rotate counter clock wise. When I got home it went in the trash. First and last BSA scope that I'll ever buy. July 13, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good for the Price I have had one of these for 6 years with no problems until it got out of adjustment and wouldn't adjust back. Otherwise I like the scope. May 21, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect for .22 long rifle Great for long rifle needs to come with scope rings. They are sold separately. May 4, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good functionality outweighs negatives This is a follow up review after owning this scope for 3 years and putting hundreds of rounds downrange with it on at least 2 different rifles. Here are my findings, good and bad: Bad first: 1. The turrets are attached to the elevation adjustment knob with tiny set screws. The design flaw was choosing too small of a set screw. The amount of force required to loosen the factory-tightened set screw was enough to strip the hex socket on two of the three tiny screws. BSA customer service refused to send new set screws to replace the ones that I stripped using the factory supplied allen wrench to loosen from their factory tightened position. Dicks made up for it by supplying set screws at no cost to me, but that will never change the fact that the hex strips too easily. 2. BDC turrets can't be accurate without both weight and velocity data for each one. The included turrets only had weight data. Include velocity data on the turret and this is no longer a complaint. The good: 1. The scope holds zero. 2. AO works nicely, although the range indicated is not consistent with the actual range. Regardless, if the target and crosshair are both in focus, parallax should be about 0 and that is the point of AO. 3. The optics are clear. I'm not going to claim to be an expert in optic clarity, but I will testify that what I see is clear. Summary: I think the BDC turrets are a gimmick that doesn't really add value. The turret set screws are not big enough, but you might be able to handle it if you are very careful. Don't plan on using the turrets to compensate for range (just zero the gun and don't mess with it) and you won't have to change turrets. Overall, the fact that the scope holds zero and the AO works and the optics are clear is enough to outweigh any negatives about this scope. I would buy another if it goes on sale. Even at full price it's a bargain. I would have given it 5 stars if BSA customer service was better. Dicks customer service was great. If BSA redesigned to eliminate the turrets, and made the elevation adjust the same way the windage does then this scope would be perfect. If they really have to have some form of BDC, do it in the crosshair. January 25, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Product well worth the money My 10 year old ordered this for his new Rugger 10/22 he got for Christmas. It arrived in just a few days and was a perfect fit. January 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by A 22 nut I have 4 of these scopes I'm kind of a 22 nut l have 3 on marlin rifles and 1 on a heavy barrel savage I never had a problem with any one scope they all track well there clear bright optics and they hold zero always what more can you ask for a 59.99 scope December 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is an excellent value I added this scope to the Ruger 10/22 that I recently purchased. It has performed flawlessly out of the box. Good optics and balance. November 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Seemed very nice, Wish I could have used it. Unfortunately the scope (and my rifle) were stolen from me before I got to use it. Seemed nice, sturdy feeling, clear and the focus adjusted nicely. I'd love to be able to give another of these a proper after I replace my rifle, I was very excited to see how well the printed adjustments on the elevation turret worked in practical use, and to try the AO focus as a rough range finder.. Rated 5 out of 5 by BSA scope is Sweet Easy to mount and sight in. Different knobs to cover drop for most common grain weights. Longevity might be in question, but looks good so far. February 19, 2015
