BSA Optics Sweet 22 Rifle Scope 4.5 5 55 55
Just Know I have had great luck so far with this scope. It has held zero through a couple hundred rounds on my Marlin 795. For those of you on the fence like I was I suggest taking the chance. This is where the Just Know comes in. As far as I could tell from all the reviews on here and Amazon you have about a 95 percent chance of getting a great scope for the money. It does seem that a small portion of these have problems with the reticle breaking loose. A very small portion. That said I took the chance I would get a good one and did. I took into consideration that I might have to send it back to BSA and spend an extra ten bucks for shipping or just return it. My experience has been great but even if I had to send it back including the ten for shipping it still is a great deal. I had ten dollars off for Score points so my price was 49.99 which would make It a wash. I also did in store pickup. Hope this helps you make a decision. January 21, 2015
Great Value, Perfect for New 10/22 I got a new Ruger 10/22 at Christmas. I wanted a scope, but did not want to spend too much. A friend recommended the BSA Optics Sweet 22 Scope on sale at Dicks Sporting Goods. I was reluctant, it seemed to big for a 22 scope, but the price was right and my friend loved his. Wow, was I impressed! Clear, crisp, accurate and easy to install and adjust. My local Dicks has out of these, except for a display. However, they helped me order it online and I had it an just a couple days. I live the scope. It is perfect for my 10/22, looks great and is very accurate. January 5, 2015
It's a sweet deal I've had it a couple weeks now and had the pleasure of sighting it in and shooting with it few times. So far I have been very impressed. Right out of the package I thought it felt well made. It was super easy to get zeroed in. I've never had anything like Trijicon, I can't justify spending that kinda money but this is easily my favorite scope and I have had a lot of lower end <$200 scopes. I would def recommend it. Awesome Scope!!! This scope is SWEET!!! Impressed with the bells and whistles that this scope comes with. December 15, 2014
The man I bought the scope from was very knowledgable I have been hunting and shooting for over 60 years, even knew and shot on Adolph Toperwine's private range as a teenager, but my knowledge is not very up to date. I have lots of guns, including 22's, so I really didn't need another one. But I have had my eye on the semiautomatic Ruger 10/22 rifle and you all had them on sale for a good price. The man I bought it was very knowledgeable about guns and shooting and when he said he had one, I felt comfortable in buying it. I knew I couldn't shoot iron sights so a day or two later, after researching sights, I came back and talked to him about a red dot scope (I have two on other guns). He asked me how I planned to use it and then started showing me red dot scopes. He then recommended the BSA Optics Sweet 22 scope and explained in detail why re recommended it, so I bought it. I haven't had the time to mount the scope yet and shot it in, but I am looking forward to doing it. Until this time, I didn't really consider Dick's a real gun store, but after see the guns and ammo you had and it talking with this man, I will start looking at your store first when I am looking for ammo, sights, guns, etc. September 16, 2014
Great scope excellent price Have a sweet 17 for my mach 2 17mm does a great job at hitting what I point at. Easy to adjust good optics... September 16, 2014
Well named product I purchased the BSA Sweet 22 Scope to replace a 4X scope on a break-action .22 cal. Pellet rifle. I did not wish to spend more on the scope than I did on the rifle, but wanted a decent 3-9 with clear optics. The Sweet 22 was the answer. It even has a bullet drop feature used on higher quality sniper scopes. This will have to be adapted for use on a .22 cal air rifle, but may prove useful. The scope has stayed dead on after a week of every day shooting, so I expect it will remain on target. A little Loctite goes a long way! I am very pleased with the high quality features for the comparatively low price of the Sweet 22. I did a bit of research on line and found Dick's to be among the lowest priced suppliers of BSA. A great scope and a great deal. August 24, 2014
Great product for the money! Real surprised!!!! Holds true on my model 60, turrets are close but not on for bullet drop compensation. Still plenty good enough for a .22! I have a few "top quality" scopes that are fantastic but you also pay the moolah for em. For the price ya can't beat this one on your fun shooter. July 2, 2014
Nice Scope for the Price I just started shooting offhand at 25yds. I had a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 3-9x40 BDC 150 mounted on my vintage Browning T-Bolt. Love the scope but parallax is set for 50yds and cannot be adjusted. I was looking for a scope with adjustable AO and target turrets in a 3-9 power range and didn't want to spend a boatload of money. The Sweet 22 has everything I was looking for, target turret for elevation, adjustable objective for parallax, nice size reticle (not too thick, not too thin), clear optics at all powers and crisp click adjustments on the turrets. The threaded metal lens covers are a nice feature. I have only put about 100 rounds through the rifle since mounting the scope. It appears to be holding zero just fine. I can't really say anything about the BDC turret for the elevation as I haven't really tested it. Sorry to say I probably won't pay too much attention to it since true bullet drop compensation is based on more than just bullet weight. All in all I am very satisfied with the scope. March 25, 2014
Actually works as advertised! Set it up per the instructions and gave it a try at 100, 150 and 200 yards the calibration on the turret was off for me by the slightest bit. Overall very easy to use and spot on. March 12, 2014
