Rated 5 out of 5 by frangable1 Well named product I purchased the BSA Sweet 22 Scope to replace a 4X scope on a break-action .22 cal. Pellet rifle. I did not wish to spend more on the scope than I did on the rifle, but wanted a decent 3-9 with clear optics. The Sweet 22 was the answer. It even has a bullet drop feature used on higher quality sniper scopes. This will have to be adapted for use on a .22 cal air rifle, but may prove useful. The scope has stayed dead on after a week of every day shooting, so I expect it will remain on target. A little Loctite goes a long way! I am very pleased with the high quality features for the comparatively low price of the Sweet 22. I did a bit of research on line and found Dick's to be among the lowest priced suppliers of BSA. A great scope and a great deal. August 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by True hunter Great product for the money! Real surprised!!!! Holds true on my model 60, turrets are close but not on for bullet drop compensation. Still plenty good enough for a .22! I have a few "top quality" scopes that are fantastic but you also pay the moolah for em. For the price ya can't beat this one on your fun shooter. July 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by DaveZ Nice Scope for the Price I just started shooting offhand at 25yds. I had a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 3-9x40 BDC 150 mounted on my vintage Browning T-Bolt. Love the scope but parallax is set for 50yds and cannot be adjusted. I was looking for a scope with adjustable AO and target turrets in a 3-9 power range and didn't want to spend a boatload of money. The Sweet 22 has everything I was looking for, target turret for elevation, adjustable objective for parallax, nice size reticle (not too thick, not too thin), clear optics at all powers and crisp click adjustments on the turrets. The threaded metal lens covers are a nice feature. I have only put about 100 rounds through the rifle since mounting the scope. It appears to be holding zero just fine. I can't really say anything about the BDC turret for the elevation as I haven't really tested it. Sorry to say I probably won't pay too much attention to it since true bullet drop compensation is based on more than just bullet weight. All in all I am very satisfied with the scope. March 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Prett Actually works as advertised! Set it up per the instructions and gave it a try at 100, 150 and 200 yards the calibration on the turret was off for me by the slightest bit. Overall very easy to use and spot on. March 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by squirrel hunter great price if it works great price, however you may need to return a few before you get a good one...cross hairs rotated internally on the first scope that I bought after ~25 rounds of 22 ammo. this should not happen! when i checked my scope mount and scope everything was still in the correct place but the cross hairs rotated clockwise about 20 degrees....I would recommend spending a little extra money and getting a higher quality scope. Rated 1 out of 5 by DEREK23219 HAD TO RETURN WAS EXCITED TO READ GOOD REVIEWS ABOUT SCOPE THAT SEEMED A BARGAIN. HOWEVER, WHEN DELIVERED SCOPE WOULD NOT FOCUS WITH A.O. EITHER SITE PICTURE WAS IN FOCUS OR CROSSHAIRS, BUT NEVER BOTH. DEBATING TRYING ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE FEATURES FOR $ SEEMS GREAT. January 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by KevinFrog worth the cost This scope is large, but it is extremely clear, easy to zero, and accurate. January 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kyle Bsa This is the best rimfire scope for the money I was shooting my mossberg 702 plinkster hitting targets at 200 yards excellent January 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by NoDiscrepancies Ruger 10/22 This scope is outstanding in quality and value at this price. Good glass, great visibility, great light. If this is your first scope you will want to brush up on some youtube vids on how to properly mount and adjust this scope. It's much more than a matter of wrenching it down to your rifle. I will certainly purchase another for my wife's 10/22. I recommend this with confidence. November 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dicks lover Sweet Transformed by boring old remington 522 viper into something exciting and extremely accurate. Once sighted in the grouping at 100yards was pretty amazing. It was great to be able to have the scope mounted at dicks free of charge. Unfortunately I needed the most expensive rings dicks had on the rack. 26.99 for weaver grand slam. Ar the range the scope still had to be sighted in but I was halfway there and it only took a few minutes. My only con so far is the weight of the scope. It weighs more than my rifle and it's big. The weight is a con but at the same time the weight gives it a well built kinda feel. Either way I love it. Shoots great. I'd recommend to any of my friends. October 31, 2013
