Excellence lies in the blade
This knife provides all the basic features one needs. I use it often from cutting away wires/boxes all the way up to personal protection. I carry this knife wherever I go. The 2 3/4 inch blade is heavy enough to accomplish the most demanding tasks but is light enough to be almost unnoticeable. The aluminum frame is light and easy on your hand and with the flick of a thumb, you can open the knife very quickly and easily. The knife also has a clip for easy carry in your pocket and with the Mossy Oak scheme on it, this knife is perfect. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

Size doesn't matter
I took this knife to go squirrel hunting but happened along a deer walking through my field of vision. I took a shot with my bow (yes, I had a license) and it went down. Wasn't until then that I remembered that I didn't bring any gear to dress and transport a deer. Pulled this little baby out, crossed my fingers and field dressed the deer on the spot. Went through bone and all.

You get what you pay for
The cap light works as expected for the price and the blade on the knife is adequate for general use. But after three days the screw holding the blade at the axis point fell out. I should have known better and removed all the fasteners and applied some locktite to avoid this. A trip to the hardware store for a metric screw solved the problem. Remember that some foreign manufacturing does not include the tolerances nor the fit that one would expect just a few short years ago.

Good for a cheapie
I bought this knife(and headlamp) set to carry at work so I wouldn't destroy my Benchmade Griptilian. I've only had it for about a week, but I'm surprised, for the $ it's actually a pretty solid little knife, decently sharp out of the package, solid lockup, no play at all, and the frame lock is nice and strong, much more secure than a flimsy liner lock. If you're looking for a cheap knife that won't empty your bank account, this is a good one, would make a nice cheap gift also. Cap light is decent, using it for tying my rigs for night fishing.
