Rated 4 out of 5 by Tony13 So far a good feeder
Just bought yesterday and got it home. Took about an hour to build. First the 2 halves some holes line up others stubborn to fit the bolts and the gasket had to be masked. The lid fit perfect but had to drill holes for the latch. Next the funnel had to be mounted, magazine no holes and had to drill out for the 4 screws. The motor mounted up perfect and no problems. Took it outside to install legs and that was tricky as the legs tend to fall apart really easy from each other. If your installing by yourself tape the sections together. It is a tall feeder so you will need a ladder to fill it. I bought a battery with coil springs and it works just a little trick not to touch the connections together. I threw feed really far on the lowest setting. I did in stall a solar charger and the hole was pre drilled and the alligator clips fit thru once I pulled the insulators back on the clips. Over all I am very happy with my purchase. The controller is very simple to use I didn't even need to use the instructions on the back of the unit. Will probably buy another for another location.

Rated 1 out of 5 by OldTrapper Very disappointed
I bought this feeder in late July and spent about four weeks trying to get it to work before giving up and trashing it. The electronics are problematic, as the feeder would go into some kind of sleep mode and still drain the battery in two weeks. In addition, the electric motor does not have enough power and often required a manual start to spin and disburse corn. The Monsta-D is the most problematic feeder I have ever owned, and I will never buy another feeder by Wildgame Innovations.

works great was easy to put together. the only thing that was hard was the latch part you had to drill 2 holes in the side and it was not marked like the directions said. but after that worked great. keeps the other anamals out of the feed too. you also don't need a 2nd person to set it up. very light.

The feeder works very good, was fairly easy to assemble and the timer is a breeze to set. The only thing I dont like about it is the legs and the way they are connected to the barrel, they are slip fit pipe so fall apart while trying to assemble or move and there is no way to secore them to the barrel they just slide into a loose fitting slot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NCPhotoman Good Feeder - poor directions
We set this feeder up yesterday. It took about an hour to assemble. The instructions were good until they ended about halfway thru assembly. For me it was not hard to figure out but I have some friends that would have tossed it in frustration. I think the feeder is of good quality and will perform well but having just set it up yesterday that is yet to be seen. I would give it a 5 but the poor instructions make me give it a 4.

Good Feeder for the price. Easy to use timer. The first one you assemble will take a little time--but it not hard to do. It goes on sale from time to time making it even better!
