worth the money works like a charm September 29, 2012
Not as simple as I thought I bought this product two weeks ago as a replacement unit and haven't gotten it to work properly, yet. I called company and was told that in order for it to have enough power to trip, I needed to purchase their recommended battery..just so happens they sell that recommended battery. Then there's the added cost of a charger..again, they sell it. My "other brand" timer (on a second feeder) didn't seem so complicated and it was digital. Wasn't expecting the added expense. I may be returning it. September 23, 2012
a good product for the money the only problem,I had are the motor leads,too small,you must be careful, not to bump unit,when closing the door to activate ! July 25, 2012
Good product, poor packing I am very satisifed with this product, but they need to do a better job packing for shipment. I bought the unit in the store and didnt open it until I got home. They pack the timer inside the unit and right next to the delicate little terminals for the motor. One of the terminals had broken off during shipment. The second one I ordered online since the store was out of stock. Luckily, the terminals were only bent when I received this one, and they could be straighted easily. FYI...you need your own 6 volt lantern battery to run the motor. The packaging doesnt specifically indicate. November 11, 2011
Didn't work, my bad luck I took the unit out of the box pluged it up to a new battery and never got it to run on it own, September 28, 2011
