Rated 1 out of 5 by This is junk I think the review headline says it all. I returned it a week after I bought. October 4, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bow & Arrow String release This Thumb style bow string release is great. I use it on a 50 pound bow string and it really works. It costs me $9.99 and it's worth ever penny. Some reviews were not favorable, but I purchased it anyway and those others must have been defective. Mine is working as created, I love it. Compared to other like devices, this is a winner. Rated 1 out of 5 by Sloppy design Attachment mechanism on release doesn't allow trigger to hook the string without using one hand to hold string and pushing release clip with the other. January 12, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by POOR OR WORSE QUALITY This product falls short of even the worth of a 5 dollar bill. So many people are buying 4 hundred dollar and up bows and then shooting the cheapest arrows, broad heads, arrow rests and releases they can find. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for good accessories. A good release is one with a buckle strap that the jaws stay closed all the time {until the trigger is squeezed}, and makes no clicking noise when used. upgrades of length adjustment are also good qualities to look for as they will help to fine tune your draw length adjustment. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good release great price This is a good release at a great price. What we don't like is it has suck a long throw before release. It would be nice if that was adjustable. September 22, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Cheap entry level release I bought this release because it was cheap and I wanted to see if I liked this style of release. It doesn't lock onto my string loop and if you lock it straight on the string it doesn't line up the peep sight. It might be alright for a kids bow but it isn't any good for a compound bow. I guess you get what you pay for and I didn't pay much so I didn't get much. August 20, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality My Husband had to bring back 3 in a row, they kept breaking while he was sighting in his bow. August 19, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by doesn't seem to work at all Ill be the first to admit I am an intermediate bow hunter. I have harvested deer with a bow many times, but I am no technician when it comes to the equipment. This thumb release seems to me to be a complete waste of $9. I cannot make the release attach and stay on to the bow string at all. I'll take it in to the bow shop before Fall so that someone else may be able to shed some light, but this piece seems like it has zero value. June 24, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Thumb style release Not good product, store should stop selling. It broke just testing it on first try. No star at all but won't let me. June 2, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice for a kid, not for someone expecting performance I bought this for my 6 and 8 year old daughter. They received a Bear Brave for Christmas and they couldn't pull the string back with their fingers and the wrist caliper I got them was too big for them. This was a perfect solution for locks securely to the string, they can get a good grip on it, and I can help them draw the bow without having to hold onto the string Bad things with this are: Clips to the string and not a D loop You have to fiddle with the trigger when locking onto the string Too small for adults with big hands The rubber piece on the trigger can slip off and get lost January 11, 2015
