Could be a WINNER if you LOWER THE PRICE. Nice Jacket Too Expensive First let me start by saying I really like North Face products. I was very hesitant to buy this at the current price. I went to the store to check sizing and see it in person and then ordered online. This jacket is defiantly not a winter coat. It will be great for spring and fall but not winter. I wore this to my son's baseball game on May 12th and it was cold and nasty weather that day. It was rainy, hailing, snowing, cold wind and then the sun would come out. I thought it would be perfect to try this jacket out. Only with a UA hoodie underneath was I able to stay warm. The jacket blocks the wind well and kept me dry the with water resistance. But it was not warm wearing it alone. It run's big. I usually wear medium, but got the small and I was still able to wear a hoddie underneath. I really like the way the jacket looks. It seems well made. I even like the soft fleece/fur interior. The inside pockets need to be a little bigger. I couldn't even fit my wallet inside. Not sure what the North Face people are thinking marketing this as a winter jacket. It's way over priced at $160. I think it's worth spending $100 on this as an awesome spring/fall coat. I was going to buy one for my son and daughter but not at the current price. Lower the price and I think you have a winner. I am a single dad with 2 great amazing kids and I am a runner. North Face Men's Chromium Thermal Soft Shell Jacket This is a great lightweight jacket that is water resistant and windproof. I have ride my motorcycle in 40 deg weather with this jacket and a t-shirt still keeping warm. It has great pockets inside and out for lots of storage. Absolutely no complaints. North Face jackets have a great warranty department that keeps me buying their products knowing they stand behind them for workmanship and durability. March 26, 2013
