Good rest but... The rest is nice enough. I added a couple of washers on the front feet as it didn't look like it would hold up without them. Good product and works as expected. THE ISSUE IS that you can't find the weights it is designed to use anywhere. They no longer make the plain jane flat grey weights. Dick's doesn't sell them and the other 25 pounders out there don't fit when double stacked. Hopefully I will luck out and find some at a used sporting goods store. November 3, 2012
broke my scope excelent at reducing recoil and provided a great rest, but when shooting 338 magnum the force was so great that my scope slid back and skint the finish on my scope and put a nick into the tapored part of my new scope. i should have examined my scope mount after each shot. 50 lb barbell weights is plenty or too much.
