Stink and fall apart These were great boots before they moved production out of the country. Now, these boots reek with a strong chemical smell and fall apart. They come coated inside and out with mold release agent. You can wash it off the outside. You cannot wash it off the inside so easily because they installed the fabric lining and insole over it. The agent also prevents the adhesives from adhering properly so parts of the boot start peeling off as you use them. I bought them for deer hunting, but I decided against that. After about a year of yard work and coon hunting they started ripping and splitting due to the poor quality rubber. If someone gave me a pair of boots I'd hand them right back. It's just not worth the trouble to put up with the poor quality. November 18, 2012
I would buy this product again and again I have used the LaCrosse Burly grip Rubber Boot for over thirty years this is my fourth pair. As a avid hunter they have excelent traction are comfortable and keep my feet warm and dry in the worst of conditions. I would recomend this boot to anyone who is a avid hunter trapper ect. I am sixty five years old and hope I live long enough to wear this pair out. April 21, 2011
Can't get a better all around boot! Cold weather hunting and ice fishing with warm feet is a must. Cleated soles are the best for icy and snowy ground. Boots fit snuggly around ankles and are easy on and off. Even more expensive models in this brand don't compare! January 23, 2011
