worth the cost
I waited to do a review until i put a hundred miles or so on these boots!!! And here it goes!! First trip out i had a few hot spots on the top of my toes but no worse then any other boots i have worn, still dry after many creek crossings!!! second trip out very few hot spots and very good ankle support and traction, still dry!!! 3rd and 4th trip out consisted of about 30 miles of very rugged and rocky terrain with nothing but game trails to walk on, hot spots on tops of feet after very intense down hill walking, to be expected!!! Overall these beat the hell out of any other boots in this price range and any that i have had! I have been wet once in these and that was only after i walked about 3 miles in soaked grass during a heavy rain and am pretty sure it soaked down my socks and not threw the boots!!!My advice is to wear quality synthetic or wool socks to compliment these boots, if you wear cotton you will assume your feet are wet from the sweat!!! Awesome quality and i will never wear anything other then DANNER as long as they keep making them this way!!! And these are the made in china version!!!

Good Boots!!!
I have had these boots about 6 weeks and have put 50+ mountain miles on them, crossed small creeks, and walked threw a lot of wet grass and my feet have stayed dry, so far!!! Now when i first crossed a creek i thought my feet had gotten wet, but learned where the cordura is gets cold enough to feel wet, so i recommend all leather for that reason alone!!! The comfort is outstanding with very little break in time!! I got pretty bad hot spots on top of my feet the 1st time, but these are awesome boots now!! I would recommend these boots to anybody like me who doesn't understand why someone would spend 500 dollars on a pair of hunting boots!!! I've had a dozen pairs of danner boots, and these run a close second to the made in usa version!!!
