Rated 2 out of 5áby mimi bad zipper design We purchased a total of three field and stream sleeping bags. The first one the zipper broke on the first use. We returned it and upgraded to two field master 20Ě The zipper broke completely off one on the first use and got stuck in the too small zipper tape on the other. Returning both tonight and don't look forward to the hassle we received on the first return. The first return they didn't want to give us our full money back because we did not have the receipt even though they could see the purchase on our rewards card and how much we paid for it. Rated 4 out of 5áby Ph65 Would have been a five we purchased two of these bags an have camp several times with no problems. Would have given it a 5 stars but iam really tired of getting bags for tents, chairs and now sleeping bags where the bag is so small it's really hard to get the sleeping bag back in. Come on guys I will pay a few dollars more for a good quality bag. May 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Sleepless ** UPDATE ** Great bag, but bad zipper (CORRECTED) This is an update to our post on March 15, 2015 under Sleepless. We were unable to update our previous post, so We are submitting another post with our latest evaluation. We still stand behind our previous post, but we thought we would give this sleeping bag another chance and bought the same bag online through Dick's Sporting Goods. The second round is much better. The zipper tape on the replacement sleeping bag is a little wider and so far does not get jammed in the zipper. Either there is a variance in the manufacturing process (i.e., some zipper tapes are sewn in wider, while others are sewn in more narrow) or the manufacturer has adjusted their manufacturing process to ensure future products consistently have wider zipper tapes. I can't say whether we just got lucky or if the manufacturer adjusted their production process, but what I CAN say is that the replacement sleeping bag has a zipper tape is wider and blocks fabric from getting jammed in the zipper as it was initially intended. Add to that the quality manufacturing of the rest of the bag and you have a much better functioning sleeping bag and a much happier customer! =) If you get a version that has narrow zipper tape that jams, you can easily return the product to Dick's for a full refund or get a replacement product. Rated 2 out of 5áby Sleepless Great bag, but bad zipper I bought this sleeping bag for my wife thinking that the bag's features would keep her comfy and dry. I was surprised when the full length zipper tape, which was supposed to stop the fabric from jamming the zipper, actually got snagged in the zipper. After close inspection, it looked as though the zipper tape was too narrow and actually was just the right width to jam into the zipper rather than cover the zipper to stop the fabric from jamming into the zipper. With much struggle, I was able to unjam the zipper tape from the zipper, but the zipper would no longer close. The zipper tag would zip right along, but the zipper would not fasten. I even tried to unzip the entire length to start at the beginning, but that didn't work either. I had to return the bag since a sleeping bag without the ability to zip closed is just a blanket (and my feet were cold from the draft#. To be fair, the rest of the sleeping bag was very well made and comfortable. To bad the zipper tape was too narrow. I thought it was just me, but upon further review, I have found another site that mentioned that the zipper broke on the first use #just like what happened to us). I really liked the design and comfort collar with non-chafing, ultra-soft fabric and we really tried to make it work, but replacing the zipper would have been too costly. March 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby jenjen VERY PLEASED WITH THE ORDER I ordered the pink camo and the matching regular camo sleeping bags for Christmas gifts. I received them in a timely manner and I was so thrilled to see they were just as the description and picture stated. Very good quality and really nice looking, heavy duty bags. December 15, 2014
