He is 46 now. Most winter hat is too much for my man. but this hat is suit with my husband. warm and dandy. Still, my son like this hat too. ^^

I haven't bought a hat in about 30 years , so i was due. And i wanted to skip the trial and error and buy a top name brand hat . Well i haven't heard anything bad about the Marmot brand , so that was my choice . I've only worn it once on a 2 hour hike in 13 degree temps. and it kept my ears warm .

First off the Marmot Summit Beanie is great: warm, comfortable and looks good on the street or the trail.
But Dick's isn't lying when they say that the "product may not match the one you ordered" or whatever the precise language is before you place your final order. I ordered a gargoyle beanie with a red Marmot logo, and 6 days later a graphite beanie with a yellow Marmot logo appeared at my door. When I saw the disclaimer while ordering, I thought to myself this has to be some kind of joke, even though I knew it had to be 100% serious (still though, really?). I just figured that the odds were I'd get the one I wanted. But nope, it wasn't even one of the same colors. What I don't understand is that if they give you the option to choose a color, and they don't have that color in the warehouse (which I hope was the case and not that they just saw "Marmot Summit Beanie" and threw a random one in there), then why not just place an "out of stock" notification for that color online? Don't give me the option of choosing that color if you're just going to ignore my choice and send me a different one than I ordered Dick's. Because that's what it seems like when the gargoyle and red beanie was not described as "out of stock," it seems like you completely ignored the preferences I chose that you yourself offered me. If it's out of stock then say so, don't just choose a new color for me and hope I like it.
All in all Dick's is safe behind it's disclaimer to continue this practice and I returned my purchase to the store because I really don't care for yellow. I just ordered a gargoyle and red summit beanie from another site even though I had to pay shipping with them.
And I didn't return it angrily, it's not the point of sales person's fault or even the store manager's fault, so why complain to them about this practice when they have other things to do that they're actually responsible for? The only reason I'm leaving this message is because this is about as close as talking to the people at Dick's who actually came up with this process I'll likely get.
