There is quite a bit of information out there about this shoe. Of course, that means it's selling well, and I have found there is good reason for this. The shoe feels exceptionally well made and durable. It looks absolutely fantastic; in fact, the reason that many will make this purchase is for the way it looks, not only on the field but with jeans, etc. It was really the selling point of the shoe. It has become a daily go-to shoe for me and on days where I happen to kick the ball around as a coach, or with my kids, I find this shoe to excel.
So why the 4-stars and not 5? The heel cup runs unusually high up your Achilles tendon. This cannot be necessary. When I first put them on, after a dozen steps, I thought I was going to have to return them. The reviews I had read suggested to "work through this" and thankfully, they were right. You will work through the discomfort and find that it gets much better-- within a few hours of wear, even-- but I still won't go so far as to say it feels right or even good on the back of my foot. The rest of the shoe, however, does feel good. The padding is enough, there is a small arch support but nothing major, the shoe is snug in terms of width at first but will also loosen in a couple hours. The traction is amazing, and when you strike the ball-- lest we forget the purpose of the shoe-- the contact feels solid and controlled.
The Millenium runs a tad small. I went a half size up and feel that was correct, especially in light of the fact that this has become an everyday shoe.
Bottom line: if you are looking for a shoe that looks outstanding, is mostly comfortable, and you plan on kicking the ball around as a coach or recreationally, I feel this may be your best choice. I found Nike's Gato to be a tad more comfortable for competitive play, and that shoe has a slightly smaller profile on your foot. That shoe feels much more agile on your foot but doesn't look nearly as good. But if you want this for general purpose, this is more than likely your next shoe, and with a very solid reputation and feel for quality, I expect this to last for a few years.
Last point: if you can get this on sale, jump on it. Mine cost under $40, and for that price, I feel great about the purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bos grl comfy shoe, runs large
i needed some indoor soccer shoes, and not much is offered in ladies, so I thought I'd try these. Normally I wear a ladies size 9, so according to the size chart for these, I would be a mens size 8. When they arrived, they were much too long. I returned them and got a 7 1/2. These also feel a bit large, trying to decide if they are to long, or maybe just a bit to wide. Unfortunately they don't carry these in my local store to try on. Wore them around the house a bit, and they are growing on me - I think the size is probably OK, i just want to make sure I won't get blisters from my foot moving around in them to much. They feel very comfortable and supportive though. Maybe adding a pair of cushy insoles will do the trick.
These are stylish shoes, and seem very well made and have good traction and support the foot well. As some have said, the back part at your heal does rise pretty high - which is fine if wearing sport socks. I could see this forming blisters if wearing ankle socks though from the rubbing. looking forward to playing a game in them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Coach's Wife Great Shoe for Coaches
I ordered a pair of Samba Millenium soccer shoes for my husband who is a soccer coach of many years for Father's Day. He has worn the Samba Classic soccer shoe for many years but now needs something with more support. He said the Samba Millenium is a great shoe. He loved the comfort, support, and fit. A good product at a fair price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Baxter the Coach A great looking shoe!
I coach kids at an indoor soccer facility and used these shoes everyday. They were great shoes! I got them online and didn't get to try them on in the store. They were a bit firm to begin with, but within a week they loosened up and felt great. The only problem I found was that after a month of using them daily they began to fall apart and I had to return them. The toe leather started getting a hole in it on my first pair. I ordered a new pair and again put them through the same treatment of daily playing indoor soccer for about 2 hours a day (nothing super rigorous). The second pair began to have the sole by the heal fall apart and so I am returning them also. It's sad because the shoe is a great looking and feeling shoe, but it doesn't stand up to the task it was made to for any more than a month. I would recommend them for someone who uses them once a week.
