Awesome scope
Love everything about it. Crisp, clear image. Love the BDC for long range targets. Perfect for deer and large US game.

Nikon Monarch UCC Scope 3x9x40
I purchased this for my Remington 700 308 win. (7.62x51 nato). With Nikon Spot On Ballistics I have ranges for most factory loads. With the android app those features go to the field or range with me. The eye relief is very forgiving, and the optics allow me to clearly distinguish landscape features over 3 miles away. I purchased on sale for $199. What a great addition when compared to its competitors. Life Time Warranty, Nikon quality. Trusted, nothing more to say.

Great Scope - Great Price
I recently purchased a Benelli R1 30-06 for deer hunting and needed a good scope to complement the rifle. This is a great scope at a great price. Essentially it's the Nikon Buckmaster with UCC or about 5% better light transmission. Can't wait to get to the shooting range to sight it in!

Best Price Scope on the Market!!!
Great scope! Got it in the evening and took it out of the box to give it a look in the twighlight. Could see clearer and brighter through the scope than with my own eyes! Easy to install, sighted in real quick and has been perfect ever since. Thanks Nikon for and excellent product!

Great quality scope for the money
The Monarch UCC is a good all around scope. The UCC is more or less a scope with the features of a Prostaff and the clarity of a Monarch, but lacks the focus/parallax adjustment of the Buckmasters & other Monarchs. For a 3-9 I'm not concerned about parallax myself. The Monarch UCC has great light transmission and transmits more light than any 50mm scopes I've seen. I got the BDC model (I'm not sure if they come with any other recticle). The Bullet Drop Compensation feature is nice and is simple enough to use. It's nice not to have to guess the amount of hold over when taking longer shots (although you may have to guess the yardage). Nikon includes a link to their Spot-on calculator that helps you determine your bullet drop based on your caliber/grain, zero distance, and the magnification. It holds zero just fine on my DPMS LR-308 and Nikon is known for their superior quality and TRANSFERABLE lifetime warranty. I lucked out and bought it while it was on sale so that made the scope an even sweeter deal.
