Save yourself rope headaches and buy these first These things are awesome. I can't tie trustworthy knots for 65 mph down the highway, but thanks to these - I don't have to. I'm not strong either, but these are easy to use...easy to tighten...and easy to un-do once I get to the lake. Holds my kayak on my rooftop bars with no other expensive accessories required. Appreciate help purchasing canoe I appreciate all the help given to me by the Dicks associate ?Scott in purchasing the $500 Saranac canoe I purchased from the Green Bay store 4/13/13.
