PowerBelt Copper AeroTip .50 Cal/223 gr. Bullet
Go with the tried and true PowerBelt® Copper Plated .50 Caliber 223 Grain AeroTip Bullet. This copper plated bullet has become one of the most popular muzzleloading projectiles. It's unique design makes the use of sabots obsolete. The thin copper plating reduces bore friction and creates higher bore velocity. This still allows for premium bullet expansion in the rifling grooves producing a clean and accurate shot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Matt Good projectile Good projectile. They were out of stock on high grain bullets. Since I was low on time I had to settle for this grain. I was able to get a pretty good group with it. October 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by CaptainVin Great groups I have been using these with 2 (50) grain Pyrodex pellets and the results have been extremely consistent and predicable. I do swab the barrel before each shot. November 17, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Redskins57 Easy to load Loading a new bullet after multiple shots is MUCH easier than using a sabot and seems fairly accurate and consistent. My only concern is I shot a deer at 20 yards and the bullet didn't pass through. Still a dead deer which is all that matters I guess. I'm interested to see if it happens again. Would still recommend due to how easy it is to load if a follow up shot is needed November 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Woody Nice I have used this bullet for awhile in my CVA Optima. Aim it in at 50 yds and then shoot deer out to 200yds. Shot 3 deer in first 2weeks of the season. November 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by bloodhoune39 exellent product I have used this product for several years now in 2 different CVA muzzleloader, and it is a high quality product I would strongly recommend to any Hunter. October 16, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by bassmaster Lighter, faster, more penetration. I like the 223 grain bullet because it has more penetration; I get good pass through shots with good blood trails if it doesn't down them. The 223 gr is hard to find though; not everybody carries this lighter bullet. November 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Don1021 Have used these in the past and they are excellent. Very easy to use compared to Sabots. Really accurate. I use them in a Thompson Pro Hunter. November 1, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by pat good in newer cva guns these bullets work well in the new cva guns, but not so good in older guns. they are higher in price than other bullets, are eazer to load but do not kill any better than any other bullet. I just believe the price for them are to high. I have 4 muzzle loders and they only shot true in the new cva. October 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by K Great product I have been using these for years in my CVA 50 cal, with 100 grains of pyrodex powder. At 100 yards I have an unbelivable tight pattern 1 inch MOA hard to believe a black powder rifle could be this accurate and consistant. The deer I have shot have gone 30 yards or less, good shot placement and this slug is a winning combination. At 50 yards my CVA shoot 3 inches high but still a tight pattern. February 17, 2013
