Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warm and Dry I have this jacket in Max 4. It is about four years old. I use it for duck and goose hunting. I have been out, in a duck blind, in side ways rain, snow and sleet with this and a set of the True Pursuit bibs. I absolutely hate being cold and wet. This is my favorite hunting jacket for staying warm and dry. It has plenty of good pockets too. April 28, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great coat for the price This bomber jacket is comfortable, dry, warm, and quiet. It's a great value too. January 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice bomber, 3rd one I have I've had many hunting outfits, and hunt in the heat, rain, snow, cold - etc. For the price it's really hard to beat Field & Stream's gear, it performs well, has several thoughtful features. On to the Bomber jacket - I bought it in APsnow this time for hunting coyotes here in the northeast. Also picked up the matching bibs. I have a cover over that i use for snow conditions, but it's a little noisy compared to the jacket and bibs. The jacket seems a bit oversized, I bought a medium, fits like a large. OK by me, i layer underneath. The bibs seem a little undersized, I got medium, they are a little snug, but not unwearable even with the layering. The bomber had a bit of redesign vs. my older bomber - especially in the hood - being a glasses wearer, I usually have trouble with hoods, but not this one. It has a drawstring in it about halfway up the hood that forms the hood to frame my face perfectly, without interfering with the glasses. The collar around the neck compliments this well. The hood also forms a sort of beak that offers some protection from snow / light rain while wearing the glasses. I practically don't have to wear a facemask, the hood is thin enough to hear through decently, yet keeps you warm. It doesn't really interfere with a facemask / hat underneath all that much either. There is a slit in the back for a safety harness for treestand hunting, seems rather interesting though my coyote stands are from the ground I have no input other than the slit is not an issue, it sort of "self seals". The pockets are great, big enough to hold stuff but not too big that you lose it in the pocket. There is a slash pocket on each side for hands, and 2 utility pockets w/ flaps that snap down. The material both the bibs and jacket are made of claims Hydroproof and wind proof, and though it does a pretty good job of doing both, it's not quite as good as my higher end waterfowl gear - but it does perform really well and better than expected within this price point. There is a draw string waist on the bomber jacket if you prefer to cinch it. It is a pretty lightweight, somewhat thin setup, yet keeps you pretty warm. I usually hunt the coyotes Jan. / Feb. during the day and at night, anywhere from 35 - 0 deg F. I wont say I never get cold, but this outfit does keep me in the field longer than many other jacket / bib combos I've had before (other than the high end waterfowl stuff), does well with blocking the wind which i think contributes to how it keeps you warm. On the breathability side, I'm still on the fence a bit, I don't get soaked from the inside out, but certainly not bone dry either - for the price I can not complain. The zipper seems a little cheezy on the new design, but have not had an issue with it, there is also a snap secure weather flap that goes over it. sleeve cuffs are hook and loop for adjustment. On the bibs, (they sometimes use the same review for multiple products), all of the above applies, they have slash pockets, a zippered one on the right rear, and a utility pocket on the left side leg. Zippers up the side just short of the knee. Elastic on sides and front zip. The zippers are beefer than on the bomber, has snap secure weather flaps. Shoulder straps are stretchy, nice for bending and such, they detach from the front. The QD buckles are a little on the cheezy side, but have not had an issue with them. There are no cinches on the ankle cuffs of the legs. Like the bomber jacket, the snaps are plastic, no issue with them yet. The Camo patterns are well defined, and the print holds up for years (at least on my first bomber), looking forward to several years of service out of the snow camo and the Max 4 set I also have. The material tends to rip a bit in the thorn bushes, but everything except bush pants will. For some reason on the new design bomber and bibs, there is a strip of material that does not have camo pattern on it. Don't know who thought of and approved that, but I hope they have reconsidered doing that, it makes no sense. All in all, highly recommend buying and trying to anyone. It's not arctic gear, but is a darn good product at a price just about anyone can afford - especially when they are on sale! January 12, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by very water proof, warm and love the camo Camo pattern looks great, product keeps you warm and dry. January 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Whites Love this jacket. Got the bibs to match. Waterproof, and very quiet material, perfect for tracking. The jacket has a safety harness hole so harness can be worn on the inside of the jacket. Best Velcro, I hate Velcro when I'm out hunting because it makes so much noise. This jacket has buttons which is great. Good size to fit over warn layers and great camo pattern, I have the whites. Got the pair for $80 bucks 50% off sale January 11, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the jacket! I hunt waterfowl in Northern California and the jacket keeps me warm and dry, dont know how it would hold up in colder climates..nice jacket for the money January 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great winter choice. Not as thick and bulky like some other brands, which allows better movement within the jacket, the outer layer blocks the wind and rain so you can go hunting on those rainy days and stay comfortable, as in any cold weather layering under garments are needed and I like wool which seems to work well with this jacket.
