Rated 5 out of 5 by TheOkayestGoalie Ideal for Skaters and Goalies I'm 6'2, 205, and the large pants seem to fit well, a little loose, so I'll get a medium next time. That said, I love these pants as a goaltender. The smooth no grip texture allows for easy pad rotation. (<- That is very important to a Goalie!) They come with a cup, which is always great as a back-up to the goalie jock and although the cup seems a little narrow and the shape is different from most cups, the very minor loss of comfort is made up for in protection, as even my pro level Goalie jock doesn't absorb ALL the impact from a hard slap shot, so this is a great back-up and ideal baselayer. "Don't go cheap on two pieces of gear, your helmet and your Goalie jock." I also wear volley ball knee pads to protect my knees from the constant impact they take as a Goalie and they slide easily over these pants or I can wear them underneath and the material hasn't stretched out after 3 years of use. They breath well, don't retain a hockey smell after washing and are the cheapest on the market for this type of compression pants. I am definitely buying a few more pairs and would recommend them to any skater or Goalie. My son also plays goal and won't play without them, and if he's skating out for fun, he wants them then too. Rated 4 out of 5 by TK Nice pants, better than I anticipated even I'll start by saying I'm 6'3" and about 175 lbs. I wear size 32 or 33 in most pants. The size Medium is a good fit. I would say great fit if I had more muscle mass, but I don't get quite as much of a compression fit as I was hoping for. They are snug, but not as much as a Compression Jock I have from Under Armour. The length is exactly what I was looking for as well, which is just to the bottom of the calf, not all the way to the ankle. Basically, I didn't want them interfering with my sock/skate fit and I have no worries about that. The design of the cup pocket is better than that of my old Under Armour jock as the bottom of the cup gets its own little pocket allowing it to sit closer to the body. I imagine it isn't quite as nice as the fit of higher end jocks that basically have a floating cup pocket that keeps the cup in place despite movement of the pants, but it does a sufficient job especially for the price. The sock velcro is sufficient for holding up your socks... no tape needed (though I do use a strip below the knee) These have been very breathable and I can imagine actually staying cooler with these even doing summer roller hockey. I'd say my largest gripe is a little itchiness from the tag at the back, but I've definitely dealt with worse. Overall, these are nice pants and I'm happy with my purchase. February 1, 2016
