Rated 5 out of 5 by When only the best will do I use Owner Twist Lock Light weighted hooks fishing for largemouth bass with stick worms and soft swim baits. For both quality and functionality, they are unique since the point retains its incredible sharpness under the harshest of conditions, the twist lock prevents plastic lures from slipping down the shank, the centering pin makes it easy to screw the lock straight into the tip of the lure, and the way the weight is taper-molded onto the shank avoids snagging when retrieving through cover. With stick worms, the shank weight causes the lure to spiral down on the drop, while on soft swim baits, it prevents the lure from corkscrewing through the water by acting as a sort of keel to stabilize the lure.
