Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 50 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great bike i had spent countless hours researching and had come down to the Giant escape 2 and the Fuji Absolute series. I happened upon this bike and when comparing specs it cannot be beaten. aluminum frame which they all have, and altus on the front and average on the back. it has all that you need. it looks sharp i went and looked at the others and to buy them was to waste money. they use the same components and are more expensive. it rides smooth and shifts cleanly. seats are very personal don't expect to get lucky with this one but i haven't on any other bikes either. if you want a hybrid with 700c tires this is all you need. Rated 4 out of 5 by Make sure to buy it on sale High quality parts and material, especially when on sale. Well worth the regular price but i was able to grab it on sale for $350, so be patient with the purchase and keep an eye on sale prices. The bike does not come with a kickstand so make sure you ask for one and if you're lucky like i was the bike tech with install one at no charge. The seat is horribly uncomfortable and does not tilt forward or back. Even with a gel pad the seat is painful, i was able to swap out the saddle from my old bike and now i have no complaints. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bike I wanted a bike to ride around town and this one fits the bill love it! September 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bike for the price. This review is based on having the bike for a month and putting about 250 miles on it. I got the bike at only $250 and for that price up to around $300 I would say it is a steal. The bike is comparable to some of the more expensive name brands. My friend has a $375 Giant Hybrid and it works the same and has most of the same components as that bike. It has rapid fire shifters, which I personal love way more than twist shifters. The bike shifts flawlessly and barely makes a sound when shifting. The paint and color is gorgeous and it doesn't feel like it would scratch very easy. Pros- -The price(great for around $250-300 compared to other hybrids). If the price was $350-500 I would just buy a better name brand that comes with a better warranty. -Rapid Fire Shifters that shift with precision. -Light frame for a hybrid. -Beautiful paint job. -Great road/dirt tires that give a lot of speed on asphalt while giving control on dirt roads. Cons- -Frame runs on a little angle instead of perfect triangle. This can make it tricky if you are putting a ulock holder or triangle bag along with a water bottle holder. You really have to measure. -The seat while comfortable enough for a 10-15 mile ride will hurt your butt at around 20 miles. I ride 50 miles some times and with this seat I was very sore. I would recommend replacing the seat or getting biking shorts/pants that have the padding. -Bike doesn't come with a kickstand and doesn't have room for a basic kickstand. You must use a rear frame kickstand, which you can get on ebay for around $10(my DSG was sold out of them, so I had to find my own.) -Bike doesn't come with a water bottle holder. They are inexpensive at $5 to get put on when buying the bike, but still would have been nice to have without an added cost. This is somewhat a pro too because it allows you to pick the color holder you want. While I have a lot of cons they are all minor compared to how great the bike is overall. Also, be aware that you will most likely spend an extra $50 on what I would consider mandatory things that the bike either doesn't have or needs upgraded such as a water bottle holder, rear frame kickstand, possibly a better seat. Last thing is make sure the bike is in perfect working order before you leave the store. My bike had a minor thing where the front brakes were rubbing on the wheel. The employee at Dicks adjusted it and said it was fine and I took his word for it. When I got home I realized it was still rubbing a lot. Luckily I know how to adjust it myself. If you don't know or want to have to fix minor things on your own make sure the bike shifts properly, brakes properly, and that the wheel is spinning straight and not wobbly before leaving the store. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good bike for the money. I am a casual rider & use this bike on the weekends on family rides w/our kids. I got this bike on sale & feel it was a great deal. I know there are better bikes out there for more advanced, everyday riders but this bike works just fine. September 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Value I lucked up and found this bike on sale for $249.99. I decided to give it a try and have been very satisfied. The staff at the Oakwood Mall Location help make the buying experience quick and easy. Definitely recommend this bike for anyone looking for an entry level hybrid. September 6, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good bike for it's price It is a good bike for it's price range. We ride a lot of the paved trails in our area, which are very hilly, it's made a huge difference. August 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Bike and easy to mount on bike rack Got the smallest frame for my kid and it was surprisingly easy to mount on hitch style bike rack (Normally smaller bikes are hard to mount). Very well balanced bike...Nice Shimano components....can handle trail(gravel or dirt) and road and still be comfortable on rougher surfaces without giving up much speed on smooth road surface. Lots of room on handle bar to install bell, lamp and mirror. Overall, a good bikes for Kids(pre-teen) and adult as well. Small brake handle were great for kid's smaller hand and yet comfortable for adult (with 2 fingers)...come with quick release seat post which is great (Most bike at this price range don't). Hard to find kickstand. have to go to another DSG store to get one.(Nishiki brand rear kickstand).. August 24, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nishiki Adult Manitoba Road Bike Good bike, lightweight, and priced right. That's the good. Now the bad: I wanted to purchase a rack for over the back wheel, and a kickstand. Because of the frame design my options are very limited. I couldn't retro fit anything from my previous bikes. August 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by 2000 miles and going I have put over 2000 miles on this bike and it is still going strong. I just do normal maintenance on the bike and replaced the brakes with longer pads for better stopping power. The only other thing I had to replace on this bike was the tires. Well, I did put a lot of miles on the bike. I put a road tire on it instead of a cross over tire. I love this bike and enjoyed the summertime while riding. This is the greatest bike I have rode and the cost was great to. I highly recommend this bike for anyone who likes to ride like me. August 20, 2016
