Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it!! Bought this bike for my wife and she loves it!!!! Happy to have her out riding with me!!!! September 13, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Smooth ride, uncomfortable seat. I'm a novice bike rider and bought this primarily because it was on sale. Otherwise I probably would have bought a cheaper steel bike. At the store, I tried an aluminim bike with a $500 price tag and much preferred it to the $300 steel models. The salesperson pointed out that the Manitoba bike was on sale online even though it wasn't in the store. I had it delivered to my home and brought it to the store to be built. It is easy to ride, but the seat is pretty uncomfortable. I'm very happy about this purchase and the helpful staff at the store. Great service. September 10, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by I am not sure if I love it yet *(This riding review is based off of my primary short term riding experience on the Manitoba. I have little knowledge/experience with bikes)*. POSITIVES: It is a very nice looking bike. Its lightweight enough to pick up with one hand and is super easy to put on and off my bike rack. The breaks are nice and strong. The gears switch nicely. If you want to sweat you will. Its fast with little effort and rides decently on gravel terrain. I got this bike because I wanted to ride on nature trails that have some gravel. I was a little nervous about the rocks on my tires, but this bike is supposedly made for various terrains. Time will tell on how well the bike does on gravel. However, I was told by the Dick's sales associate to ride minor gravel trails and the trail I ride on he said the bike is suited for. Sean was great and answered all of my questions while purchasing this bike. NEGATIVES: The seat SUCKS! It is extremely uncomfortable to ride even for a few minutes. I will be looking for a new seat or gel seat cushion. The seat affects the enjoyment of the ride and makes me not want to ride it. I hope and believe when i get a new seat I will like my bike more. Secondly, the position of the handle bars cause my arms and body to feel a bit uncomfortable. (I'm 5'4 and maybe should have gotten a 15in frame instead of 17in). Thirdly, I did hear some clinking after riding for the first time (Not sure what that was all about). Lastly, once you purchase this bike from Dick's YOU CANNOT RETURN IT!!! Just a heads up. Overall, I do like my bike and cant stop going in the garage to look at it. August 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nishiki Womens Manitoba- worth the money! I struggled on and off with cheap Wal-mart bikes and was constantly frustrated and the quality. Our family wanted to go on fairly easy rides (paved trail, light variations in incline/decline, etc). We went into dicks to talk to a bike specialist and that's what we got! The salesperson took us to this bike after explaining our needs to him. He suggested a hybrid bike with a really light frame. Although I didn't want to spend the money, I'm glad I did. It shifts gears wonderfully with the quick gear switch bars and made the different terrain much more tolerable. It is very lightweight- so much so, that I can lift it up and load it onto our truck rack with no problem. I will say, it does NOT come with a kick stand. This must be purchased separate so that was a little odd but that certainly is not a deterrent. The handle bars also adjust for a more comfortable trip depending on how you ride. All the specialists at dicks will walk through these options with you :) August 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy with the quality and value . Beautiful, well constructed, smooth shifting. Bought for my girlfriend who loves it. July 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE this bike I absolutely love this bike. Great on hills. Gears are fab. June 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nishiki Bike I got this for my girlfriend and she loves it. The bike rides really well and the guy that works in the bike area that we dealt with was really good. I don't recall his name off hand but he said he was the manager of the bike area. He really took care of us and everything went great. The customer service he provided was top of the line. Rated 4 out of 5 by Price point women's Manitoba Since they have to meet a certain cost per bike (price point) I suggest you get a better seat, you buy one onlinelike a women's Terry or Women's Selle SMP trk gel. Also watch some videos on how to set up a road bike, if you're not positioned correctly you will have discomfort and not ride more. WATCH YouTube Road Bike seat adjustment May 6, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by NIce bike for the price but nothing special about it Nice bike but unfortunately the handlebars are not designed to be raised up from the factory position. Absurd, since the seat can be raised with the quick release lever. Shifts well but chain does drag on the maximums and minimums of the shifting range. Wheels have pop off levers but it is odd that it can only accommodate one bottle cage. Reasonably light weight and rides well with easy rapid acceleration. It is not a comfortable bike to ride for long periods of time. I would have liked to see a smaller tire width and a less knobbly tire. May 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value This is a great hybrid for the money. Bought one three years ago for one of my daughters and just bought one for my other daughter. Great on trails, bike paths, roadways or wherever. Highly recommend. April 5, 2016
