Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by So far so good First day out with it and I was drilling the ball straight. Minor adjustment to the weights and I was set. Got it on sale, but these are last years clubs so it's getting harder to find them for this cheap new. October 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by TM R15 430 Driver Easy to use. Improved my game by allowing me to draw a golf ball without changes in my mechanics. August 10, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by GREAT IMPACT Upgraded to the R15 driver from the Taylor Made R580 , Great distance and accuracy, did poke a couple drives between 280-300 yards, down the middle on my first round with it. June 23, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not ideal for the average weekend golfer I bought this club as an upgrade from my previous Nike Covert driver, since the recent price drop of the R15 range has put it within an affordable price point. I will keep this review simple. This driver will give you the longest drives of your life IF you can consistently impact the ball on the dead center of the club face. Anything outside of dead center will result in a duffed shot. Period. I have used ball impact tape to track the point at which I hit the ball on the clubface, and after checking those disappointing mis-hit drives, I was surprised to see I was only marginally outside of the center point. I did achieve my longest drive to date, 322 yards total distance, with this club. So it is certainly a long hitter when you nail it dead center. The R15 has a strange impact sound that is dull and not very confidence inspiring as it is hard to distinguish from good solid impacts VS poorly hit drives. I would say this driver is great if you are super consistent with your driver swing, but if you are needing something a bit more forgiving, do not buy this club or be prepared to be frustrated. I lasted 1 month with the R15 before selling it and buying the new Cobra Fly Z+, which I have found to be light years better in terms of overall playability and forgiveness on less than perfect swings. Rated 2 out of 5 by Demo different from Product The store clerk spent quality time with me analyzing my swing speed, direction and ball speed. The R15 demo made a solid sound when I struck the ball and the stiff speeder shaft was perfectly aligned with my swing and speed. The factory settings were perfect for me. We picked out the same R15 model, loft and shaft as the demo. The clerk did tell me that you can return the product but like a new car it would be for substantially less. My irons are Taylor 2.0 and my last four drivers have been Taylors. I expect the ultimate quality from them. I did not get it. The driver is set the same as the demo. The driver sounds like I am hitting a marshmallow and I have to change my swing just to get it in the fairway. WHAT GIVES? January 28, 2015
