Rated 5 out of 5 by Fred Awesome cooler, keeps things cold, but it is a bit bulky Insulation isn't cheap: you're paying in dollars and space. That written, if you want something that keeps its cool, this could be the cooler for you. Just back from a boat camping trip. . Did not pre-chill the cooler. Filled it Friday noon with goods from the fridge, and two 1 gallon water containers from freezer. It was 70-80 during the day, and low 50s at night. . Tuesday morning, almost four days later, about 1/3 of the ice was left in the gallon jugs, and everything was still cold. I was pleased. The interior dimension front to back is a bit skimpy. Had to scrunch down the edges of the egg container if it were to fit in the bottom of the cooler, front to back. I'd rather a bit less width and a bit more depth. It comes with 1 "divider/cutting board" that is a better divider than cutting board (food rearranges once removed so it a pain in the but to put back in. The interior top tray is a couple of inches deep and about 1/3 the width. A second one might be handy. It _is_ a bit unwieldy, but it also holds a lot and has fantastic insulation. It took two people to hoist it, fully freighted with 3 1/2 days' food, into my skiff, where I used to be able to do it alone with a smaller cooler. But it's a trade off, one cooler versus two for me. The insulation looks reduced on the top, so I filled the cup holders with foam (a soup can makes a good foam-board cutter), and kept it in the shade as much as possible. The cable on the lid is nice, and I like that the hinges are stainless. The handles swing up, and are padded nicely. I prefer the handles that slide up and swing (for putting into tight places), but then they couldn't be padded. September 6, 2016
