Rated 2 out of 5 by You get what you pay for Took about 100 swings with these and came away with three blisters; yes, it would have been worse without the gloves, but the protection offered was insufficient. First, the fit is loose because this is not leather; the material simply moves with the bat and thus abrades the palm. And, unlike leather, it won't get any better. Second, the material is thinner than you might expect, and thus the protection is not so great. I waited until the blisters had disappeared to take BP, and tried to ameliorate the effect of the glove by tightening before each swing and taking the slack material up, but it did no good. Simply put, the materials don't offer enough protection. They are too thin, and don't fit closely enough. If you're serious about BP, spend the money. If you only want to look flashy in games, and won't hit lots of balls outside of that ... they might do. July 29, 2015
