Rated 4 out of 5áby rubberducky Great starter kayak I've had the Boost on the water about a dozen times since buying it last month and I can say without hesitation that it is an excellent way to get into the sport without breaking the bank. While not fast ( I can average about 3 miles per hour), I find the boat very stable and easily handled. I'd like more supportive back and foot rests than the Boost offers but they're still adequate for a couple of hours on the water. If you're looking for an entry level sit on kayak this one deserves a look. I will probably upgrade pretty soon but I'll keep this one for friends who want to give paddling a try. September 22, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5áby yakmaniac best 200 ever spent. big green isn't fast, likes to turn and is super stable for a 10ft. it is the best platform to begin a build, add rod holder, deck plates hooks and what ever you feel. it was only 200$ you have extra $$$ to spend. mine is decked out rod holders, deck plates and bimini top September 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Tom2016 My first kayak Purchased about 1 month ago (Aug 2016), never kayak before. I am 5'11" about 208 lbs and my son (7) about 70 lbs. Both of us was on the kayak, He was moving around on the kayak from middle to front and from front to rear, jump off and climb back in many times, I have to say this kayak is very stable. We didn't turn over. Track well and very easy to steer. All the kayaking are done on the lake or mariner, no ocean and fishing yet. Issues - your bottom will get wet, so I plug the holes under the seat with washer and bolts. The green plug I got from Dick's doesn't work. No carry handle on the side and pad eye - So I spend about $30.00 to upgrade. Bungee cords broken the first day. I called and the manager and he told me he will sells me a new cords at half price. Summary - Great kayak for $229.00. Great kayak for beginners. September 1, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby funinthesun Best kayak, best price! This boost is super stable and a blast to be on. I am 5ft 2in, 275lbs, and I have no problem getting around on this, it tracks great. I am comfortable in the seat, the lower back support is AWESOME, and the kayak is plenty wide. It sits well in the water, and I can carry all my gear- or my 70lb husky. My husband had a more expensive sun dolphin fishing kayak, we took it back. It was awful, took on so much water, didn't track near as well as boost. This is a fantastic value, you won't regret this purchase! August 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Gaskin228 Perfect I took this kayak 2 miles offshore from Pensacola Beach for fishing and trust me when I say this is truly a great stable ocean dwelling kayak with plenty of room on the back for a milk crate plus a small tackle box if needed. For a 10' kayak at this price that can be taken offshore and go through surf amazingly this is the best bang for your buck. And this was my first kayak!! August 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Hec Great buy!! Purchased recently for me and my small family. Excellent kayak. Stays afloat well and does not take in water. For the price only thing missing is waterproof storage. But I bought q water proof box they sell at dicks and attacked it to the back. Good to go! Fits great in my 6ft truck bed. Doesn't even need to be strapped down.smooth sailing on the waters. Aerodynamic design makes it slice through water pretty efficiently. Have only been out to lake on it. No ocean yet.highly recommended kayak! ! August 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby kayak123 Awesome Kayak It is basic but a well put together kayak. I like the open design because it allowed me to bring my two dogs along for a short ride. I think it tracks well and is fast in the water, (it wont track as well the more weight you have in front of the seat. I noticed the further my bigger dog got towards the nose, the harder it was to steer). Its stable and very forgiving. It can be flipped but it takes A LOT of effort to happen so I really don't think anyone should worry about this. Looking over the sides is not going to cause it to flip. The kayak can easily be carried comfortably with two people, a little harder with one person, but still can be done. Some things I don't like or could be fixed with future models: The water bottle slot currently lays flat- I think it should be an upright can holder. The sides have molds that make you believe it can be carried there but you cant- it should be a cut out or have straps. Also, this is a sit on top kayak which means you will get a wet behind (completely normal). The holes in the kayak are for water that gets in to drain out (self-bailing). Some of the reviews imply this as a bad thing. If you want to stay dry than a sit on top kayak is not an appropriate kayak. The first kayak I bought from Dicks had a broken tether cord on one end. I saw a bunch of scratched up kayaks even in the store, I would recommend looking everything over before purchase. They were good about the exchange luckily. August 16, 2016
