Rated 1 out of 5 by DOA Junk --Do Not Buy Recieved this lamp and.put batteries in it, but it wouldn't come on. It never worked. It is simply a pice of junk. Do not purchase October 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! Purchased this in anticipation of losing power during Hurricane Matthew. Lost power a few minutes ago, put the batteries in this lantern and am sitting here reading a book. Only con is the blinking on/off switch, when lantern is off. So glad I got this and will probably buy another one. October 8, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Unproductive!! It took 5min to try and get the top off, then figuring out which way the batteries went was a Challenge. And after struggling wit the darn thang, it wouldn't come on! "Bummer" I'm taking it back to the store evening though I brought it online :-( October 6, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Lantern to light up the tent! The lantern is very bright to light up the entire tent, it was easy to read, and play games when set it on the high. We had it on low around the camp fire, and it was sufficient to see everyone. Overall it is a good item to have when camping, just wish it didn't have to put that many (6) D batteries to power it, a bit heavy. September 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by dam blinking power switch! This an awesome, rugged, very bright light. I was sick of lame, dim fluorescent lanterns (Coleman) that break on the 4th or 5th camping trip and also take those monster 6-volt batt.s. The only complaint I have has been mentioned (and unanswered) in other reviews and I sent in an inquiry to Field & Stream that they seem to be incapable of answering. Why does the power button flash FOREVER after putting in batt.s? It never, ever times out! I bought 2 of these-one flashes dimly, the other flashes so bright it lights up a dark room. It's very irritating and no one can tell me it won't eventually (remember, it NEVER stops!) drain the batt.s. What is the deal here? How can we turn it off?. September 21, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bright Very bright. Has 2 settings. Wish both would be stepped down a little, they are very bright. But overall very happy. September 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by very good lighting excellent product for emergencies will use on power outages August 9, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by On off Button stays lit So this is a plus and a minus the on off button switch stay's on so minus you can't pack light with batteries or after a few day's they will get drained down some. The plus is when camping if the light is off it's easier to see the on switch. It would have been better to just use a glow in the dark button. Overall it works well August 9, 2016
