Rated 4 out of 5áby APeters Great for first timers Got two of these a few months ago. We'd never even been in kayaks and these were perfect for us! Holds my 400lbs husband with no problems. Plenty of room at my feet for my toddler to enjoy the ride as well. Lots of storage and I usually throw a cooler on the back of mine for long treks. The only downside is my husband's has a small hole in the back now from a rock getting caught up. Field and stream is sending us a free repair kit for it so the customer service is amazing. Definitely worth the buy and glad we went with these. October 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby TommyB Great kayak Bought it 3 weeks ago and haven't used any of my others since. Very stable and tracks well. I was looking at a few nice kayaks that were a good bit more expensive than it, and glad I went this way instead. The $ I saved will help me rig it the way I want. September 17, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5áby yakattack I like it. Very stable. I can stand on it and fish. I added a trolling motor and the weight of the battery and motor actually make it even more stable. I guess due to the weight. I love the boat. Kind of heavy to put on my suv but I manage. Great for fishing. I keep four rods ready at all times. I made a motor mount in the rear. The transom is square, just right to mount a motor, so I did! I put a 45 lb Minn Kota on that puppy. It moves out pretty quick. Gets me up the rivers and lakes so I can focus on fishing, not rowing. Tracking is pretty good for a battleship sized yak like this one. I always get compliments from others. My friends call it the Cadillac of kayaks. I take out the seat when i transport it, it saves about 15 lbs. Seat comes out easily. September 14, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5áby Jeremy32 Awsome kayak Awsome kayak. Only downfall is how heavy it is. I drug my kayak 4 times and it wore through the bottom. I would suggest invest in the wheels when you buy this kayak. Other than that it is the best kayak. September 1, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5áby Jimmy Disappointed I'm going on day 2 with this kayak, I've read some reviews saying they were cheaply made, but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway. The kayak felt solid and I felt that it was built like a tank. I just got off the water with it and on the way back the screws holding the seat down tore right out of the plastic. I bought this kayak in the way out of town for a week long trip on the lake. Now I'm stuck without a kayak. I will be returning this kayak and looking for something else. Probably won't be buying anything from field and stream anytime soon. August 30, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5áby Kayakkarate awesome...just awesome Very stable. I can't tip it over...and I tried. Tracks great. Great to upgrade how you like. It is heavy though. However, I am able to get in up on my HOnda Pilot by myself. I don't have cross bars and fits perfectly. Lots of foot room especially when the seat is folded in the upright position. The seat also comes out which makes it easier to transport because the seat itself is heavy...maybe 20 lbs. I weigh 230 lbs and it is perfect for me. August 8, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5áby Beau4s Great for the price but,,, We bought this kayak for $799 and for the price we love it. It's extremely stable compared to others we own or have rented. Standing up to cast is almost effortless. The seat is nice it raises or folds out of the way. My big concern however is the hull. There are no guards in place and dragging down a cement/rock ramp or bleaching on anything but sand will easily cause holes. That being said, it's a great kayak for the price as long as two people (95 lbs) carefully place it in/out of the water. August 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby VAsportsman16 Solid kayak This is a solid kayak with plenty of storage, stability, and glides over the water well! July 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby shawn0342 Great kayak. Watch the keel! I bought this boat 3 months ago. Its been a fantastic boat! Great stability and tracking. If you cant stand on this kayak, I don't think you'll be able to stand in any kayak. I highly recommend it. However, a word of advice, watch the rear keel and DO NOT drag the boat over concrete or pavement. The plastic is rather soft and mine wore a hole at the rear keel. I called the warranty center and Dicks replaced the boat for me. I had a brand new boat the next day!!! Couldn't have been easier and I am very happy with the customer service. I'll be adding keel guards to the new one for sure, but otherwise, this is an awesome kayak for the price and cant be beat. July 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby TroyOH Great kayak I am a bigger fella and this kayak is the ticket. Floats in next to nothing and I can actually stand up and do whatever I need to. Paddles easy for a yak this size and comfortable to boot. Nothing bad to say about the product. The racks dicks uses for display is another story. The only defect/bad experience was a gouge in the outside bottom edge from the display rack July 19, 2016
