Rated 4 out of 5 by Really impressed with the crosman fire np It's been sometime since I shot a pellet gun. Out of the box the rifle shot in a tight group. I'm not very smart, but once I figured out that the caps came off to adjust the scope it was zeroed in rather quickly. Oddly enough adjusting the caps did nothing:). The rifle is accurate and I'm pleased with its performance. I can hit a pop can about 250' out with a couple tries. I think if the scope was upgraded the range could probably be extend. My only gripe is that this rifle is hard to cock. I'm not a sissy either. Maybe it's not broken in yet? Overall I would make the same purchase again. I forgot how much fun target shooting was. Thank you. October 19, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing .177 caliber rifle for the price! I had been using a Beeman "500 Series" air rifle for about 6 months before I purchased this one. I had grown used to (and comfortable with) wide groupings at short distances as well as a wincingly weak-sounding springy noise as I shot each round. I had hit squirrels and chipmunks before, but as the rifle only had about 500 fps of power, I felt inhumane as I shot and wounded them and they scurried off before I could take another shot, which was likely to miss anyways. Something had to change. The Fire NP was different. With the first shot I fired, a wide grin spread across my face as I felt a kick similar to even that of a real .22 caliber firearm. During the first two days of morning backyard hunting, I killed 4 chipmunks with one shot each using Gamo Red Fire hunting pellets. This weapon is a force to be reckoned with and is an amazing bargain at Dick's - I grabbed one for only $80 during an October sale. It is so much more humane to dispatch small animals with the right tool. Just fair warning, the first few cocks can be a struggle, but it will become much easier over time. The included scope is adequate for my uses, but a variable UTG scope may be in my future as I expand my collection. Zeroing it was fairly painless as I could achieve a 1" group at 20 yards with about 20 shots. A great product! October 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This Thing Is No Joke The gun is VERY powerful. I was amazed. I would almost compare it to a .22 caliber rifle. September 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very impressed! I did a lot of research to find a good set up for rabbit and target shooting. It's a perfect weight to carry, shoots very smooth and is quiet! I highly recommend it!! August 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Crosman Fire NP Pellet gun is Very Good This air gun work great for target shooting and the sale price it was worth the money August 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by VERRY NICE VARMIT GUN THE .177 GUN IS QUITE EFFECTIVE FOR CONTROLLING PESTS AND HAS A NICE "FEEL" AND LOOKS GOOD June 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Patience When I first got this product I knew I would need a variable scope. So I did. A Centerpoint 3-9x32 mil-reticle scope. And Premier hollow point pellets. Bad Idea. I was really frustrated trying to zero the darn thing in. I did not know the pellets and the way I was holding the gun was the problem. I found out that there is a 250 shot break in period. So, I felt relieved. But my tin of 500 pellets was running on low. So, again, I became frustrated. I looked up on youtube what was the problem. I kept on coming acrossed the artillery hold. You can look it up Im not going to explain it. It's just a hold for your spring or piston airgun to not stifle the recoil. That tightened my groups a bit. But I was still getting 3 in. groups at 25 yd. Time for new pellets. This time I went with the Premier ultra magnum(domed). Great idea. My groups are constantly tightening under an inch at 25 yd. If you are to buy this gun I strongly recommend you buy domed pellets and use the artillery hold. Good luck! June 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by great gun Great gun for the price.very accurate already killed a couple black birds with it at 25 to 30 yards the only thing I don't like about it is the safety it's to close to the trigger. May 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Value For the price I was able to acquire this gun, it has to be the best value for the buck. After adjusting the scope, this gun is extremely accurate. I was amazed at the accuracy in this price range. I was prepared to spend around $750 for a German made gun to ensure quality and accuracy, but got accuracy and power at a savings of over $600. I really liked the feel and weight of the solid steel barrel. I used Crossman pellets with a slight point for varmits even though I was using targets for scope adjustments. I have a Crossman .177 pellet pistol my father-in-law gave me, but this is the first pellet gun I have purchased. I couldn't be more satisfied at this price range. May 7, 2016
