Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid Bike and Great value for the price Great solid and very functional bike. Had it a few months now and ride a lot on a variety of trails with no problems yet. Like the features like larger tires, disk breaks, disconnect wheels, and fairly lightweight frame. Good midrange bike and value for the price. September 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great. Value Been looking for a good all around bike that wasn't too expensive but wasn't built cheap. This bike has great value for that price point. Also the bike shop guy there was very knowledgable and helpful. August 18, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great bike I've had this bike for over a year now and I love it I put hundreds of miles on it with little adjustments August 10, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Interesting product for the price This has been the most interesting bike I have ever owned, and I have had 2 road bikes used almost everyday and they are from the 70's and 80's and bother have been more reliable. Part of the reason for buying a new bike was to get into mountain biking and to have more than 10 and 12 speeds. I purchased this bike 17 days ago, and have been back to the store 3 times, and I will be back again tomorrow fro the 4th time to drop this bike off to be repaired. I am not some professional mountain biker, or racer, I do however ride everyday, if not every other day not for long s=distances, but for about 10-20 miles at a time. I have owned the bike for about 2.5 weeks, and it has been nothing but problems. I have had the front tire pop on me before I even had a mile on the bike, I have had the front derailer at the point where it didn't shift into all the gears. I have had the rear tire pop on a separate ride, and will be returning to the store tomorrow to get the brakes tightened up again, because they loosed up while I was riding almost causing me to crash. I am a big guy without a doubt, and I am not sure if this is having any impact on the bike, but I shouldn't be having these kinds of problems for the price point compared to other bikes. I am not a huge trail rider, but I wanted to get into it and figured this would be a little better way than spending $800+ dollars on a mid range aluminum bike that is going to be more than I need. I like the bike, and when I get it back from the Bike department after they fix it, it seems to be working well, it just doesn't last very long. I would definitely appreciate it if someone reached out to me and let me know if these problems are most likely cause by a novice rider, or by manufacturer error. I understand that as with most things there is a break-in period where things go wring or need to be tweaked to specification; with that being said I do believe that this bike is become a lot more problems than it is worth. After researching the parts, It seems that for the price point, this bike is made up of decent grade parts. The rims, fork, and derailers at retail price come very close to the total price of the bike. It seems like with a little more fine tuning, it could be a very well made bike. I would say that this would be a decent bike for someone who is lightweight, and will not beat on it too much(of course I didn't think I was beating on it too much either). I did not assemble the bike, I had bought it assembled. I cannot say that I would recommend this bike at this point, but I can't say I wouldn't either due to the amount of issues I have had with it. If you are going to purchase it, it would be a good idea to do so from a store with a bike mechanic on site. On a side note the Dicks Sporting good in Hanover MA, and specifically Moises has been terrific in getting this bike to a point where I don't need to come to him after every ride. He seems too know his stuff and can tell what is going wrong quickly. August 8, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Colorado 29er Great bigginer bike, takes a good beating in real mountain trails, did upda tires for better ones tho August 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bike for the money. After a long search for a mountain bike this Nishiki turned out to be the best choice, especially for the money. Suspension, disc brakes and especially the sealed bearing set up throughout the whole bike, which most other box box store sold brands lack. August 5, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Awesome ride It pedals with ease up tough terrain and Handel's well not to heavy at all and I have high end Gary Fisher trek mountain bikes and this pedals better than those. The only problem with this bike is the breaks are awful not good at all you might have to spend extra for better ones August 2, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by chain problems i got the bike and it worlds overall well but when the chain fall of the gear it locks between the gears and the bike frame July 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome bike Took it out on the trials today and it did way better than expected! The tires on it take corners really good. I have the 2016 model all black. The breaks also dos way better than I expected! Definitely worth the purchase July 18, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Piece of work Bought under one year ago Worst bike ive owned yet, every other week im changing tire tubes not even riding it hard either... Looks like the rims are bent but i sont understand how, over 6 months the whole chains rusted and from month 2 ive had gears skipping and just nit shifting. Ive fixed this gear problem before and it just is faulty it sometimes pushes the gear right off... Over all i do not like this bike i should have done more research July 14, 2016
