Rated 5 out of 5 by WVUVT1 surprised others have felt disappointed Got this rod last winter and have been using it a ton. It's a killer deal for 80 bucks. The sedona series real is pretty high quality. About a step or two above the entry level reel for a shimano. The rod has great sensitivity, and is very durable. I've heard of the eyelets cutting down line and I did have this problem too with monofilament (which sucks anyway). If its a huge concern spend a few bucks and replace the eyelets but again I've only had this happen too me a few times on hundreds upon hundreds of casts, It may not have even been the rods fault. For a two piece rod its a good rod May 31, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Quinn Very disappointed I bought this combo a couple days ago at my local Dicks Sporting Goods. I checked it out in the store and it seemed like a quality setup to use as a Trout pole. Brought it out the next day and the first fish I caught, the o-ring at the tip of the pole cracked off. I've read a couple other reviews of some people having the same issue. I didn't expect a lot for the price of the setup, but I thought it would at least last me more than 10 minutes. I am definitely bringing this back to the store to exchange it for a different setup. May 2, 2016
