Rated 5 out of 5 by It accomplished what I needed I got this product after talking and getting feedback from the store employee, I am an occasional Tennis player, and I twisted my ankle a couple of times in less than 2 months due to overweight, I was looking not only for support, but for a way to totally avoid a 3rd incidence, ...let me tell you, this active brace actually prevents you from twisting your ankle, it firmly protects the ankle and provides good mobility at the same time, played for hours and it was great!, ...I actually tripped on the same leg recently, ...and had no Issues this time! Rated 5 out of 5 by Great brace I got 2 of these for my daughter who plays volleyball. She really likes them, and from what I see out there, this is top notch. Great product. A little speedy, but worth it February 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wish I had bought sooner. My daughter plays club volleyball and came down hard on her ankle a few weeks ago-the doctor said it was sprained but not broken thankfully. There was quite a bit of bruising and swelling so we waited until she was ready to go back to practice to buy these. Had her try on several pairs so she could get the correct fit and stability. She says they really help keep her ankles from rolling so I am hoping this will keep her injuries to a minimum. She has done this before just not as bad-wish I had gotten them sooner to have prevented this injury. February 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top notch ankle brace My daughter had rolled her ankles playing volleyball. She was hesitant to move hard laterally for fear of aggravating her weakened joints. We tried these Cramer Volt braces and have been pleasantly surprised. They are not cheap but the swivel at the ball of her ankle has worked great for her. She has not had any additional problems and is confident in her play. These may require you to buy a half size larger shoe. The frame underfoot is comfortable but takes up a little extra room. Rated 5 out of 5 by volleyball player i bought these a while back, when i had been playing volleyball for a year. i had been haveing a lot of pain in my ankles and my dr said to try some ankle braces to support and provent ingury. righ before club this year i bought them for myself. i have had no more pains and can play my hardest with ease. my performancse has improve due to the lack of pain, and i have the knowlage of knowing that my ankles are safe from and injury. one of the best things i have ever bought for volleyball. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great but not as flexible as I'd like I like this brace however It is not as flexible as I'd like. I can walk but it is noticeable that there is something wrong. I would like to be able to still run but it is not possible. August 22, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best braces I have ever had!!!! I bought these braces because my ankles pretty badly when I was younger playing different sports, so now they sprain much easier. Over the last 10+ years I have tried dozens of ankle braces and hated every single one of them. Some were too loose, too tight, not enough support, no range of motion, uncomfortable to were...the list goes on. Recently I have taken up hiking and planned a trip where I knew the terrain was pretty rough (rocky, narrow and steep). Last time I hiked it I ended up on crutches for a few months with a bad ankle sprain. My doctor suggest active ankle and I figured I had nothing to lose. So I bought one for each ankle a couple weeks before the trip and wore them around to break them in a bit. They are surprisingly comfortable given the level support and after a few days I hardly noticed they were there. Went for the 2 day hike including climbing 2000+ feet in elevation in less than 2 miles and came home with no pain at all. Not even a little sprain! I have been telling all my friends that it is WELL worth the price and the best purchase I have made in a long time!!! April 17, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Straps too short I bought this brace for my daughter who has sprained her right ankle many times and needed a good quality brace that she can wear for softball. First of all, you can't put the brace on and then put your shoe on. You have to put the brace in the shoe first and then figure out how to cram your foot into the shoe with the brace in it. You have to twist your ankle to get it into the shoe, a very difficult and painful process. After about 3 tries we managed to get the shoe and brace on her foot, only to discover the velcro straps on the brace weren't long enough to wrap around her ankle. Then we had to pry the shoe back off of her foot. It's also recommended for shoes with removeable insoles which her Asics do not have. Basically your insoles are what holds this brace into the shoe and keeps the hard bottom of it from digging into the bottom of your foot, so even if the brace had fit, it probably wouldn't have worked in her indoor practice shoes. We never tried it in her cleats since the straps were too short. We returned it to the store and found a better quality lace up brace at a medical supply store for less money. March 26, 2013
