Rated 5 out of 5áby Carol It works my butt I am a little bit older and remember the days of stair stepper machines in the gym. Yes they seamed manatanous at the time and they probably are but so are most pieces of fitness equipment. But what I do remember is that they work your butt really well and you get results. This Sole stepper does just what I want it gives me a quiet smooth workout and tightens up my glutes just like I want. October 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Shelly I like this machine. This stepper is very understated but gives me a great workout in the areas that are important to me as a woman. It is smooth and sturdy, nice display and comfortable to use over my 45 minute workout. It also makes my butt, thighs and quads burn which is where I carry my weight so I feel good that I am targeting my problem areas. October 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Shellbell Nice stepper Bought this unit to work my glutes and upper thighs. Great machine for the price. Very smooth nice workout and does what is says which is work the butt. October 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Tamtam Great buy! Only took my husband and I one hour to put together. Everything you need is in the box to put it together. There are literally like three steps to put it all together. I just did my first workout for an hour and it was amazing! It really works out your glutes and calves. The fan is kind of pointless for me. It's so high up that it doesn't even hit me. The console is bright and counts calories and steps and floors but not miles. I'll review again after several months but so far it's a great solid machine! You can feel the value. June 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Mike Worth the money! I was skeptical at first about ordering this machine as I was not able to find many reviews for it online. However, the price of $899 seemed reasonable and I decided to take a chance and ordered the SC200. I am so glad that I did and I have no regrets whatsoever. This machine is very high quality. The instructions for assembly are very good and it doesn't require much time to put this unit together. Also, the tools needed are actually included in the box. You will need another socket wrench to properly secure the bolts that attach the arms to the main unit. In regards to how the machine functions, the motion is very very smooth and the machine operates very silently. I was expecting the machine to be loud or at least have minimal noise, but that's not the case at all. It has preset workouts (cardio, strength, hill, fat burn, interval) that you can choose from as well as a manual mode. The display screen is nothing fancy but it's more than adequate. It shows you the timer, how many steps you've climbed, the amount of calories burned, distance travelled in feet, and also heart rate pulse when you place your hands on the center hand grips with the built in sensors. There is also a built in fan which is not very useful and built in speakers which I have yet to try, but I could actually do without those features as I was not looking for those and I have the machine set up in front of my tv anyway. Overall, I am very impressed and pleased with the quality and operation of this machine. It is worth every penny! I would have gladly paid the full retail price of $1500 that this machine was originally listed at. I ordered this machine directly through Sole's website and the price is the same, shipping is free, and there is no sales tax. The box is fairly large and is easier to handle with two people (it weighs about 200 lbs or so). Assembly can be done with one person even if you're not the handy type. You can get a really good workout on this machine and you'll definitely feel it in your thighs (especially towards the front inner side) and glutes. If I did have one negative thing to say about this machine it would be that you don't really feel much in terms of getting a "burn" in your calves when working out on this machine. I was expecting it to be good for that since it is a stepper/elliptical but it in no way is a deal breaker for me. There is no way to adjust the angle of the platforms you place your feet on so the only way to vary the degree of intensity while working out is strictly with the preset workouts and/or resistance levels. I'm hoping that the longevity of this machine meets the expectations I have had thus far since ordering it. April 4, 2016
