Product Information:

Featuring plenty of new updates, the Brooks® PureFlow 5 continues to provide the lightweight flexibility you came to love in the PureFlow 4. Instead of the popular BioMoGo DNA, this year's model uses DNA LT, an all-new foam midsole material that is 10% lighter than BioMoGo. By decreasing the weight, you remain light on your feet and more flexible than before. No-sew overlays add durable support, while the sculpted platform cradles your foot.
FEATURES:

  • New midsole material DNA LT is 10% lighter than the popular BioMoGo DNA
  • Mesh and synthetic upper materials increase breathability and comfort
  • New upper construction utilizes no-sew overlays for added support
  • Sculpted midsole and outsole platform conforms to your foot, for a second-skin fit
  • IDEAL heel reduces stress and pressure at the heel for a smooth landing
  • Nav Band through the midfoot for support
  • Sculpted medial midfoot for arch stabilization
  • Omega flex grooves promote a natural foot flex
  • Improved toe flex for flexibility and responsiveness

Customer Reviews:

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Lightweight Nice weight, good feel on the sole, but the upper half has a lot of seams and loose material that rubs the top of my toes. I feel like I always need to adjust the tongue of the shoe. Nice look. August 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good quality, comfortable running shoe Although the shoe is well made and comfortable, I ordered the shoe online as a gift for my granddaughters birthday. When I received the shoes, I was very disappointed to find that I was shipped a pair of shoes that had obviously been returned to your store by another customer / the first shoe I saw was soiled on the side and the bottom of the shoe was dirty - not an appropriate gift for anyone. Ended up returning the shoe to the store for s new pair. The store personnel made the return process very easy which was appreciated. I probably will not be ordering online again. August 5, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too tight, too stiff I have purchased the Brooks Pureflow since the 2nd generation and have always enjoyed running in them. I was excited for the new look of Pureflow 5, however, they are way too tight. I thought they needed time to break in, but that never happened. The tongue dug into the front of my ankle. Also, it didn't seem like there was much cushion/support when running. I am disappointed I paid full price for them. I immediately went and purchased an older generation because I could not run comfortable in the 5th generation ones. August 1, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not satisfied with purchase The tongue of the shoe cuts into your ankles, impossible to wear short socks. Overall, not satisfied with this purchase. July 27, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Love the shoes but too tight Bought these and wore them for a week and they were tight, I was hoping they would break in a little. Went back to the store and tried a half size up, still too tight, the next size would have been too large. Just not a good fit for me. The shoe overall is awesome but not for me. I traded them for Brooks Launch 3's and totally love them! July 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love them Brooks has done a great job marrying style and function together with these sneakers! I absolutely love them. They're comfortable but have support enough to wear all day or for training. July 12, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by love the shoes I love the shoes. I read the other reviews before I purchased them, and I'm glad that I did because a few people said they run a little small so get a 1/2 size up. So I did and and they are perfect! June 27, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love The Heel I had never paid attention to this brand of shoes before. At first glance, I thought that they were Nike. At any rate, the associate recommended these shoes when I informed her that I have a problem with heel pain. They were so comfortable to my heel; I could barely feel any pressure on it. They do run small so I did go up 1/2 a size. Also, I do see what others complained about with the hard, rubber tongue. It is too long and it does dig into your skin. My tongue ends up leaning to the outside so it does not dig into my foot. June 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable sneakers I have very narrow feet and these sneakers are great. They do run small so I would go up at least a 1/2 size May 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light, comfy, perfect I had been wearing others styles of brooks for the past couple years, and decided it was time to finally spring for one of the more expensive pairs. I was certainly not disappointed!! These shoes are so light and comfortable! I did have to ORDER UP 1/2 size for the perfect fit (usually an 8.5). I tried them on in a different color in store and then ordered online. I run approximately 10 miles per week, give or take, and expect these shoes to hold up for quite awhile due to great construction. May 3, 2016
