Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! At first I did not like this update (I think it was mental from reading all the negative reviews). I have been running in the Pure Cadence since the 3rd version. There was such a difference from version 4 that it threw me off. After breaking these shoes in, I love them! I have very long and narrow feet so the small toe box and the overall narrowness of the shoe is perfect for me. It fits like a glove. I am now on my third pair. October 13, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nothing like a Cadence Very disappointed in my recent purchase of the cadence 5. These shoes do not provide any of the support or stability that has kept me loyal to Brooks. By more supportive they mean hard! The tongue is very uncomfortable. September 22, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very disappointed I have been a Pure Cadence runner since their debut. This year's model is horrible. After three miles I had two bloody heals and blisters on the top of my feet. I compared them to my previous shoes and there is significantly less heel cushion. The tongue of the shoe was more rubbery than cloth so they were terribly warm to wear. I love the Pure line and now I don't know what to buy! Crushed and disappointed!!!! August 8, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Why change a good thing? I have loved the PureCadence line until the 5. They should have named it something else because it is not the same shoe. The tongue slides to the side of my foot before I can even get out of my neighborhood. Also, a great feature of the past models was no seam attaching the tongue. With the 5s I get blisters under the tongue seam. I would pay good money to get my hands on a PureCadence 3 or 4 in a 10.5! May 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for narrow feet, long runs These are my go to shoes for distance running. I'm a neutral runner and I believe these are stability but I prefer the feel of the Cadence to the Flow or Launch. More snug, lightweight but great support. The older versions had the tongue and laces offset which I liked so the pressure was less - that might be the only thing I miss a bit. This newer shoe has a more foam/padded tongue instead. It's ok- no problems thus far. May 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe Very comfortable, light weight and moderate support. True to size. Very happy with this shoe. April 15, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cute but not the best running shoe I bought these last week on the brooks website since I was so excited pure cadence 5 finally came out. The tongue of the shoe slides to one side & turns my socks black. B they do not feel as comfortable as the 4s were. I recently ran in the ghost 8s and I will stick with those. February 19, 2016
