Rated 5 out of 5 by Terrific golf balls and a great price, especially when they're 2 for 30 Play to a six handicap and i love these balls. Much better around the green then a tour ball and still great distance. They don' curve as much off the tee as tour balls either which is usually a good thing - and can get some curve when i really want it. Ball is solid in all categories. Length, spin with irons, low spin with driver, soft around the greens. Love having a good ball in yellow too. Much, much easier to find in the rough and way easier to see while in flight. People who have to find their own balls (non-pros) and use dull white balls are crazy. October 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gamer by Top Flite Best ball when weather cools and you need mid-compression October 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Anti hook, anti slice, very long off the tee, and very durable! I purchased the Gamer Yellow after trying out several balls for my 85 mph swing speed. The balls at 90 compression or higher seem to have to much side spin for me and I was loosing lots of balls with hooks and slices. If I used a low compression ball I would hit it straight but it would be very high and my distance would suffer greatly. I just hit this ball 283 yards off the tee and I have only lost one ball in 27 holes. For whatever the reason is I don't hook or slice this ball and I hit it far. This ball is very durable. I have hit trees and graveled cart paths with very little markings on my ball. I do wish it was just a tad softer around the greens and I may try the Gamer Tour in an attempt to get a softer feel. Rated 5 out of 5 by Not your dad's Top Rocks! Typical lazy Sunday morning a few weeks ago, I saw a few forums mentioning the Top Flite Gamer ball. Did a little more research, and then ordered a dozen from DSG, with free S&H. Got up from the table and headed out for a round. My box from DSG showed up three days later. I have played three rounds now with the TFG 3-piece golf balls. Of course I got them in yellow. No malarky, these balls deserve every 5-star rating they get on the internet. Especially for $20/doz, and quite frequently on sale at DSG for well below that. The sound is perfect. They are not clickee like the old Top Rocks. The cover is nice and, well, I like the word sticky. But not sticky. More like a good solid eraser. OK, just not slick like a cheap ball. Off my driver, they are long and straight (well, usually). I will guarantee you that I am not giving up any distance compared to my normal e6 or Chrome Soft balls. Anyway, something to think about. Just don?t chuckle too loudly when you see your buddy tee up a new TF Gamer, and keep it dead on your $45/doz heels! August 28, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good features. First time trying this ball great soft feel and great distance. August 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great spin decent distance Great ball for the money. Don't let the top flite name turn you off. I'm a 20+ handicap and I got this ball to stop and spin back on wedge shots around the green. (Never happens with the two piece balls I normally use). I love it around the greens. August 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these balls ! I've been playing the Gamer for 2+ years now and really, really like these. I'm a 16 handicap and have tried several other mid priced balls in the same time frame but keep coming back to these. I just bough 2 dozen today. These hold up really well (unless you are regularly hitting cart paths and trees). Also, they may not spin back like a premium ball but they spin enough so that when you hit the green they will stick and won't run off the back. I also love the Yellow color which really helps me identify my ball quickly on the fairways, greens and more importantly in the rough. July 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really good ball I used TF golf balls several years ago for distance. I thought I would give them another try and found they were better around the greens than I had remembered. I am a single digit handicapper and shot 75 the first time I played with them. I will keep them in the bag now. June 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent ball for the money!!! I find that this ball is a great match for both my level of play and my checkbook. I'm a bogey golfer who only plays about a dozen rounds each year. I know the difference between a hard distance ball, a mid-grade ball, and a high dollar ball with outrageous spin and stopping ability on greens. Be clear - this ball is not a ProV-1, but it doesn't claim to be. It IS an excellent 3-piece ball that produces good spin and soft feel around the greens. I find the cover to be more durable and resistant to scuffs and cuts than high dollar, super-soft balls. It is also a great compromise between high spin and straight distance balls. This ball will bite and stop on greens, but may not jump up and zip back at you on a high-spin wedge shot. For mid-to-mid-high handicappers - you will be able to notice the difference. High vis-yellow greatly makes this ball much easier to see - especially in overcast conditions or on long drives. June 8, 2016
