Rated 5 out of 5 by Great camera Im a very happy hunter with my new game camera .The back lighting in this thing has been awesome for set up because I do a lot of my camera moving in the dark . I'm also very pleased with with the pics I've been getting from it the quality has been spot on for me . From one hunter to another this camera has been the total package August 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Pics, Great Value!!!!! This is my second G42 and I have to say this is the best camera I have every purchased. Pics look almost fake they are so good. Love the camera!!!!! August 26, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't buy this trail camera Takes great pictures when the sensor triggers the camera. Couldn't get the camera to take a picture of anything more than 12 feet away. I walked straight at the camera it only took a pic when I was within 12 feet. Fresh droppings in the deer trail. No pictures. I bought this camera because of the advertised features. It doesn't work past 12 feet. I'm very disappointed in this product. I'm returning it tomorrow and buying something with better reviews. August 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Value! The G series of cameras from Stealth Cam have been awesome for me. I had purchased a few G30's and a G42's from another retailer previously. They have been great on battery life, have a very quick trigger speed, with wide field of view, provide awesome HD pictures, and best of all has been the video with sound on scrapes, it is tremendously cool.....I saw the Kryptek version at Dicks and had to add another. This camera has been just as good as the others. I'll be running the G42 in picture mode on food plots because of the high quality photos, increased IR distance, and wide field of view...then I'll switch them to video mode over scrapes because of the awesome HD video with great sound. It is seriously cool to hear some of the noises bucks and does make checking scrapes! Thanks to Stealth Cam and Dick's for the great products at a great value! August 12, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Video not working on 2 cameras I thought that this was the highlight of all Cameras. Extremely disappointed!!! I bought two cameras on two different days from the same rack. Both videos takes nothing but a black screen. Audio , photos, work perfect.. Actually Crisp pictures but no Video!! For the money it's worthless. Extremely disappointed. I'm returning it and sticking to probably Moultrie that hasn't failed me ever. Not to add stealth service is lot the best. I have to pay shipping with a broke camera... Come on guys really? Rated 5 out of 5 by Blown away I owned a wildgame innovations camera for a few years, and wasn't impressed. I tried this camera and I was blown away by how clear and crisp the images are and how advanced the technology was. Super easy to set up and takes beautiful pictures... if only I had some bucks on my property, nothing but does!! August 6, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Unhappy And Returned This Camera I bought this camera hoping it be a big upgrade over the other older/cheaper Stealth Cams that have. It had all the features wanted and seemed like perfect choice. I quickly noticed after a few nights that the camera was not as advertised. I had it set up on pictures at first and the pictures it did take were not good at all. It's supposed have features to reduce blur, yet many of pictures had blur and to dark to see much. The part that really annoyed me with this camera is the detection. It says 100ft range and 0.5 second trigger speed, yet it would constantly miss pictures that it should've caught easily. I had a couple of older, cheaper stealth cameras set up near this one and they were able to catch pics when this one failed to do catch anything. Cameras half the price of this one did a better job!. I did test out the video also, the video was not bad, but not worth $130 for a camera that can only take decent video, bad pics, and very unreliable detection. I returned the camera and got a Browning, which been very happy with. I highly recommend if looking for a good trail camera and budget is around $130-$150, Get a Browning Strike Force Elite, I paid $140 for mine with a 8gb memory card. It has been a HUGE improvement over this camera. It takes good HD video with sound, the pics not bad, and not much gets passed it. August 4, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by It's practically blind. Do not buy this camera. On paper it looks great. .5 second trigger and 100 foot range? Sounds great! Except one problem. The detection range is more like 10 feet and it is also very vertical angle dependent. I set the camera up and using it's test mode at best could only get it to trigger out as far as 25 feet or so but only if it was set at exactly the right height and and angle and that was not reliable. Last night I set it up with apples 10 to 20 feet in front of it with the camera 3 feet off the ground. I tested it and it triggered on me. This morning all the apples are gone. No pictures. I have Wildgame Innovations camera (my first one), the cheap one, $50, and it works far better. You could do a Irish jig in front of this thing and nothing. Returning it today. July 24, 2016
