Good safe, got it on sale for [$] after [$] rebate black Friday, Have seen the safe online for almost double that a few places.Walls on safe are a tad thin but no one is gonna just walk off with it. We do alot of entertaining and even though i had the guns in locked cases, i wanted to keep the children away a little better and this safe will do just that. I am very pleased thus far and very happy with the employees that helped me load it into the back of the wifes Xterra(fit with the door shut Btw). Only thing i would say would make it better is little thicker walls and a Key backup for the lock. otherwise, Great safe and good buy!

I looked all over and this safe was selling for $1000 to $1200. At [$], this was a supper value. The lock and door actions are smooth. The finish is very good. To move the safe, the door slides off without unscrewing anything. The door weights about 150-200 lbs. The door is very secure with hardened steel behind the combination lock. The walls are 14 guage steel (.0747", a little over 1/16"), the top and bottom are 12 g. (.1046", a little under 1/8"), then 3/4" foam for fire retardent, then 5/8" wood, then carpet. This is not a burglary safe. The walls can easily be cut through. Very high value items should not be stored with this safe. Otherwise, worthy investment.

The size is perfect for what I'm using it for. The only issue I have is with the carpet on the shelves, it wasn't attached very well and curling on the edges. Easily fixable though.

Safe is well made and a good value. The door removes easily which makes bringing it in the house easier. Only regret is that the combo can't be changed.

safe is ok for a chineese import but its not UL tested and im not sure if it even meets the DOJ requirements

GREAT SAFE. GOOD WAY TO MOVE IS TO TAKE THE DOOR OFF. THIS TAKES HALF THE WEIGHT AWAY. MAKE TWO TRIPS INSTEAD OF ONE BIG ONE. LIFT THE DOOR OFF OF THE HINGES.

Before buying a gun safe I shopped around and did my homework. I compared Browning, Red Head, et. al. before settling on the Stack On Elite 28 gun safe. It's my opinion that with a Browning safe you're paying for a name and the name Browning isn't worth [$] more! This safe offers fire protection AND a waterproof feature and for the money it cannot be beat. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the combination lock is sometimes aggravating because you must hit all the numbers in a precise manner; otherwise, I love the features AND the price.

Great safe. Heavy duty and can be mounted to floor. I wish I could buy more shelves and shelf clips[...] No interior organisational options are available at this time. Would definitely buy again.
