Berkley® Vanish® is an easy-casting fluorocarbon line that refracts light similarly to water, making it virtually invisible to fish. It handles and casts more easily than ever before. It also maintains 100-percent of its knot and line strength when wet. Its higher density makes it sink faster, and the low-stretch formula increases sensitivity and hooksetting power.

Comments about Berkley Berkley Vanish Fishing Line:

I bought the 8 lb test and put it on my spinning reel. At first it seemed like a decent line, besides the poor casting distance that is. But it was able to hold up against 3-4 lb largemouths. Unfortunately after a month of usage, the line starts to break apart. I lost a 3+ lb largemouth 1 ft away from the boat because the line snapped. One thing you must do when you tie on a new lure or hook is to double check the line strength about 1 ft away from the lure. I've had many occasions where I would pull on the line to double check the strength and the line would just snap. That's doesn't look good when you're looking to land some big bass.

Comments about Berkley Berkley Vanish Fishing Line:

In all of my years of fishing, I have never experienced such a horrible make of line. The twists and memory were extremely excessive and knot strength was poor. I spent more time cutting out bird's nests and loops than I did fishing. This line cost me a ton of time on the water during tournments, not to mention the cost in dollars. Avoid this line! I'm going back to my P-Line.

Comments about Berkley Berkley Vanish Fishing Line:

I spent more time working out line twists and other tangle problems with this garbage than I did all last season with a different brand. It doesn't cast very good either. I won't put this on another rod of mine again. Back to Trilene or Sufix for me.

Comments about Berkley Berkley Vanish Fishing Line:

This fluro has not let me down yet. I use the 20 lb. test for jigs in clear to stained or off color water and the 14 lb. Test for almost everything else. As long as you retie (applys to all lines) it will hold strong. If your experiencing line breaks at the knot try switching to either a palomar or trilene knot. :)
