This is the `` goldilocks '' between the Novablast 3 and 4 and my favorite version of the three. Best version of the tongue. It's gusseted, a bit stretchy, preforated, and a touch of padding at the top to help prevent lace bite. The upper is a bit more breathable, and traps a bit less heat. The best version of the midsole. It's a bit less firm than the 4, better energy return than the 3, and they got rid of the excessive protruding heel from the 4. It's surprisingly flexible for a high- stack midsole, so you can use this for runs, jogging or walking. Very versatile, quite stable and I like the `` track club '' color way.

Like the title of this review states, I have bad feet. I have high arches and an under supinated gait. I 'm also a theme park junkie, and desperately needed a pair of sneakers that can see me through a 22, 000 step day at one of parks. They are very comfortable to walk around in, not as good as real sneakers, but better than a lot of lifestyle ones. Like all asics, there's no arch support. No shoe will ever be as good as the Gel- Cumulus 23, but I am very pleased with the GC- 27. Mile after mile of spongy comfort, excellent lateral support, great energy return. After some experimentation, I came back to the Gel- Kayano Wide and glad I did. I really needed a wider shoe and the Kayano comes in wide and really has the heel support that I need due to my pronation which has caused frequent knee and calf pain. The only reason I replaced my old Asics spikes was that after 9 years, they were pretty tired! These are more of the same. Perfectly designed for a left foot fosbury take off. They are towards the snugger side( both length and width), which is obviously what you want for high jump( I tried out the adidas out of curiosity and the toe and heelboxes were a little roomier, which does n't bode well for slipping on the plant foot at take- off). The right foot is built on a tilted last, which helps you run the curve more effectively but strangely the right shoe seems a little roomier than the left. This obviously is n't a risk on the non- take off foot but it's a little odd nonetheless. I also like the lack of pre- bend in the toe section. Again comparing to adidas, where the pre- bent toe does seem to add a nice rocking effect over the midfoot on take- off, but you lose a bit of propulsion as you ca n't toe off quite as much. You do n't have that issue in the asics. This is a very solid shoe, which can easily handle a very fast approach from an athlete who is considerably heavier than a traditional high jumper and then translate that horizontal force into vertical movement.

The fit is perfect, the toe box is large enough to spread out my toes if I 'm on a long walk, the texture of the shoe is fantastic and tough and there is protection on the toe on the inside to prevent holes in the toe. I showed up to a 5k and realized I 'd forgotten my race day shoes. There was a store nearby so I picked these up for the race. The fit was great. I have a narrow foot and these were perfect. The upper is stretchy and comfortable. Midsole was well cushioned, but firm and stable. I would n't call them plush, but I expect they 'll do fine for runs to 10 miles or so. There is a big rocker in the forefoot and quite a bit of toe spring. Felt like it was rolling me forward, but nothing extreme and no pains. Finished the 5k within the top 10%. Not a personal best, but not the shoes fault. This is an excellent shoe. Probably not the best choice for a 5k, but reasonable. Not sure where they fit in my rotation, but daily trainer, tempo day or maybe even an occasional interval day will probably be fine.

These court shoes run narrow, I do not have narrow feet. I needed them for a tournament and had no time to exchange for wide, so I decided to wear them anyway and deal with them being tighter than optimal. They were comfortable anyway. I chose thin socks and have worn them to play pickle ball twice without a problem. I love how the look too. If I were to order them again, I would probably order the wide so I could wear my normal socks, but I think once they are really broken in, they will be fine.

These are very good, reliable shoes. My feet feel protected on impact with the ground in my stride for walking, but I wear these generally for playing tennis. I do still play tennis and I feel these are the best shoes for the game. I usually recommend these shoes, when asked for recommendations for the best tennis court shoe. I can move around the court quickly and efficiently, up or down the court or side to side. My feet feel supported. This is, perhaps, my 5th or 6th pair of ASICS. Great every day running shoe. Not built for racing but absolute cruiser that will take care of your legs. The dual layer foam setup is soft but stable while being very smooth. Not a lot of bounce but a lot of roll with a perfectly placed rocker. I believe the magic is in the rocker position and grade combined with the midsole setup. I was consumed with the Nova and Superblast so I didn ’ t try the first version. Probably a good thing. I ’ m surprised by just how much I like this shoe. My all time favorite every day trainer/ long run shoe.

Post 4- mile run. You can tell these shoes are ment for distance, long runs, 6+ miles. A friend ran a marathon in them and the consistency of comfort stayed the whole race. I just bought a pair for a half marathon coming up. They are not built for speed or a ton of action. They do have some action and forward propulsion but the shine in stability got longer than normal runs. Maybe go 0. 5 size up, they are slightly more snug than the Nova Blast 4s. just barely though. Overall 9/10 for what they are meant for.

As someone with wide feet and high arches, I love this shoe. I don ’ t even need to upgrade to the wide edition in the 27. I appreciate the wide toe box and elasticity of the laces& tongue to allow room for my high arched feet. Great cushioning for all- day teaching or running. This is my 3rd pair and i absolutely love them. Being a hair stylist means standing in the salon for 10 plus hours a day. These has brought so much comfort in my life. I ’ ve tried other asics but these are best for standing long periods of the day. The cushion is perfect.

This sneaker is extremely comfortable. Has bounce throughout the foot bed, not just the heel. I feel it's unfair the sneaker only has a 3 star review because someone complained about the color shipped. It causes people to miss out on a great sneaker. I would by again.

Great neutral running shoe. I have flat feet and it prevents me from excessive pronation without the need for orthotics. I do wish the toe box was larger. The size up in width made no different in toe box with unfortunately. Besides my individual toe box needs, the shoe is perfect.

Thrilled to find a properly wide trail running shoe with a slight drop. Firm ride with decent lockdown. I usually forget I 'm wearing them which is honestly the best thing that could happen. Stud pattern is not as deep as some but traction is good. Very good all- around.

The fit and color are excellent. I always have to put a different insole in because i have a higher arch.
